JanSport Classics Series Spring Break Backpack (Forge Grey)

Just looking over some of my old purchases. Bought this one in 2011! It is still going strong. It has had a lot of use. It has seen a lot of subway travel, filling in for a large purse if I have to carry something. It has even seen a few vacations. If it is still made the same it is well worth the money. I've gone through several JanSport backpacks but it really does take years to wear them out.It is a good size for me, not too large - I can't lift or carry anything too heavy. The straps are padded and easy to tighten while wearing if necessary.I have also washed it by hand and it turns out great.

Good durable product. This is my second one. Soaks up water around the lip of the small zip open pouch. So I made this water repellent works great. I us d candle wax & a hair dryer. Now the lip does not hold water just comes fight off. The whole bag is water repellent.

I was sceptical at first about everything.Tons of questions going through my head.Is it really an original jansport ?Is it small?Will it hold all my sons school Supplies?Is it well made?The answers are yesIt's a good size. He uses this for school.YesAnd definitely yes!I have to say that i am definitely pleased.He has had this for a couple months now and I am in love.It washes really well.I wash it on cold cycle, use liquid detergent, and MUST AIR DRY.

We bought this backpack for our 6 year old and are quite satisfied with it. It fits him well, easily holds his lunch box and all his first-grade schoolwork, and stands up to being kicked, thrown, trampled and run over with a bike. The only thing we wish it had is a pocket on the side for holding a water bottle. Otherwise, this was a fantastic buy.

I bought this bag to use as a "quick" diaper bag to tossed into the bottom of the stroller or take inside restaurants and other quick trips. Bag holds mesh diaper wristlet containing 5 diapers, small wipe packet and plastic diaper disposal bags. In addition to the diaper wristlet, the bag also has a change of clothes, a light blanket and a few toys inside. It could probably hold few more things. I've been using JanSport bags since middle school (25+ years) and I've never been disappointed with the quality or style. I'm confident this bag will last and in a few years transition into my son's school backpack. These bags make great canvases for patches!

So we bought the "Cars 2" backpack for my son to start Kindergarten. He picked it out and he liked it, but it started to fall apart in December/January. He wanted another "character" backpack, but I talked him into this one. I did not want to buy a new backpack every few months. This fits his 3 ring binder, lunch box (typical character soft sided lunch box with a flat square bottom and a separate tapered compartment at the top), snack bag, and a library book all with no problem. I wanted something big enough to fit all that, but not much bigger. He is only 5 and I did not want it to be too huge. This is the perfect size. Some other reviewers were complaining about this being too small for older kids. I think this would be fine through elementary school, but JanSport makes a Super Break backpack for those that like the style of this one, but it is slightly larger.

I needed a basic dependable backpack to use in addition to a checked suitcase while traveling throughout Asia this past summer. I wanted something similar to the Jansport Super Break, only a little shorter to suit my 5-foot height. The Spring Break was PERFECT! Not available in as many colors/patterns as Super Break, but just as sturdy and comfortable. (Be aware that Spring Break does not have the padding along the back like Super Break has, but that didn't bother me.)

I like this backpack. I can tell that it will last a while, and Jansport gurantees its quality. My only concern is the size. Its a lot smaller than my last backpack. I hope it can fit all my books and supplies, but I'll see at the start of this semester.

Bought it for my son for high school, he is using it every day and he is really happy with it, nothing is falling apart.

Ordered this bag and it came the very next day with no hassle!The bag was packaged well however, there were a few dirt marks on the bag and the bag was too small for me.But with that being said the bag itself would be great for little day trips and is a nice simplistic design.
