Laurence King Bird Bingo

I was impressed with this game! Not only is it a game, but a learning tool as well. A child can quickly learn to identify a variety of birds. The art work is very impressive.

The birds are beautiful and my grandkids love the game. The 5 yr old has a good a chance of winning as the 11 year old!

My 5 & 7 year olds really enjoy this game. The 2.5 year old is even able to match up some of the pieces with the bingo card (before trying to knock it all over). As an adult I've enjoyed playing it more than some of the other kids games . Much less fighting/crying than games where you can "steal" from other players or knock them back down the board (I'm looking at you Sneaky Snacky Squirrel, Trouble, Chutes & Ladders, etc)It would also be great for a larger family gathering because many people can play.The orange bingo chips are surprisingly made of cheap paper/cardboard but the rest of the game is very nice quality. I will be giving this as a gift at many future birthday parties!Like others I wish there was a version specific to birds in our area, but it's still fun!

Very educational for children to learn and develop a broader learning base.

There are so many ways to play this bingo, the more familiar you are with the different birds you can change the way you play to increase difficulty. Our little learning birders love this game and so do I! I can call out the cards and sip my coffee while they enjoy the scramble to cover their boards. Beautiful game boards and interesting species.

This is a fun bingo game, which has the advantage of teaching my budding naturalists more bird names, too! We have loved how subtle the differences are between some of the birds, and have enjoyed really getting close and looking at the incredible portraits. When no one is available to play bingo, my youngest loves to play a matching game with the call board and cards. We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old and both really enjoy it.

I wasn’t sure how this will come across a 7yold but rest assured that he fell in love with bingo. Everyone in the family learn how to play it and I’m positive his vocabulary has increased because of how many times it has been played since Christmas. I love how sturdy it is and the easy instructions for children to follow. All in all, the best gift ever.
