Very powerful even for nut’s paste
Love this one so much!! Constantly making peanut butter, smoothies, cutting veggies and many more! Very powerful, but can overheat if using non stop. But worth the money 100%

Very versatile
This set does it all from blending to dough kneading. Motor is surprisingly strong.

sleek, ergonomic, durable, and feature-packed
This is great stuff from the company who popularized the hand blender. In the 1960s and 1970s, Braun introduced their Multiquick series — sleek, ergonomic, durable hand blenders that became a household staple. My wife just loves MultiQuick 9 and considers it the best blender she ever owned. She has had other hand blenders for 20 years. When it comes to household use, its speed, size, and power exceed all expectations.

Awesome Addition to my Kitchen!
I had been wanting a immersion/hand blender for a long time. I had a food processor and a hand mixer which I gave away and replaced with this. It is amazing. It pulverizes vegetables with ease and chops nuts to perfection. You have to watch what your doing or you will turn what you are chopping into dust. It is effortless. Easy cleanup. Most of all it's safe to use. Highly recommend!!

Loving it so far! Recommend!
I've only had it a few weeks and have used it several times, performs well. My only complaint is the plastic on the food processer seems cheap, hence the four star. At this point, would totally recommend! 3 year warranty is a nice bonus!

It Replaces So Many Kitchen Tools
This is fabulous. I bought the 5 cup pitcher as an accessory and was able to give away my food processor since this comes with a 2 cup container and an 8 cup container you can chop or blend in. The 5 cup pitcher for me replaces a 4 cup one that I would use in my food processor. It’s a smaller footprint, easier to clean, and feels heavy. It has a fabulous safety feature so you don’t take off fingers with the immersion blender. I will say for smaller hands it is a little awkward to use but I will accept that given its outstanding features. It feels just slightly less powerful than my original food processor but I honestly don’t need a lot of power too often. Besides, given the convenience of this I will reach for this far more often than my food processor.

Beware! The blades are extremely sharp
The plastic covers intended to protect the user are unsafe. IT is hard to remove or put them back while the blades are not in use. They also create injury risk while loading/unloading the dishwasher or handwashing them. They could have designed a better solution (i.e. a container with slots/holes that allow safe/tidy storage and dishwasher cleaning). The motor itself is powerful and easy to operate.

Many Functions, All Underachievers
Having downsized, I thought it would be a good idea to get a "combo" set to supplant the individual appliances that I used to enjoy. The lack of documentation is appalling. The lack of an organizer to keep the accessories in a bundle (when space is tight) is inexcusable. Could have offered an option for those who don't mind being extra tidy. Naturally, this is no substitute for the specialty devices that one may have. Of course, it is an unfair comparison. The website is very poor unless all one is interested in is glossy pictures - classic disconnect between Marketing and Sales. Did four smoothies: the results were underwhelming and pale in comparison with my previous appliance. I guess I have to accept a new (but not improved) definition of "smoothie" now. This is not buyer's remorse because, as I stated earlier, I have no choice but to accept the situation. Did baking dough preparation with only 1.5 cups of flour: "a bad carpenter will always blame his tools" may be true but since I am accustomed to a proper food mixer, I must confess that I almost "cried" with the results of this Imode technology. Most important: it is early days for me, but I am worried of the ability of all the plastics to withstand daily use. Why did the product design team shave off a few millimeters of thickness of the container walls? What was the trade-off?

My very old food processor conked out a few months ago and while I don’t use it a lot it has been missed. I was investigating a replacement when I came across this Braun unit. I had always wanted an immersion blender, but never got around to purchasing one. The chance to get both at once made me stop procrastinating and I placed an order. When you consider the cost of a food processor, an immersion blender and a small capacity chopper combined, the price tag on this is very reasonable. The versatility makes it a terrific option for a shower/wedding registry or a house warming gift. Even that budding chef that my husband claims he’s going to be!?! To date I have tried the following units/attachments Large food processor - French fry blade is amazing. If you make home made fries you will love it. It powers through a potato in seconds and makes a great size fry somewhere between a shoestring and a regular straight cut size and approx. 2” long. I also tried all the cutting blades. I haven’t quite figured out what to do with what, but with a bit more experimenting I am sure I will figure it out. (Side note….i don’t love the pictorial instructions). Two different depths of slicers and various options for shredding give one a lot of flexibility Five different blades snap into the main disc. Removing and replacing the discs is very straightforward. The highlight is speed. This machine tears through everything so fast it is amazing. Often I am too lazy to drag out a kitchen appliance to do something I can do by hand, but the fact I have carpal tunnel syndrome combined with the power and speed of this machine will give me the incentive to do something. Mini chopper I have one of these choppers by another name brand and use it all the time so this was a duplicate for me. I will likely give away my old one as storage is an issue and the Braun unit is more powerful than the one I own. Main mixer hand tool: I used this unit on its own to use the potato masher (fantastic) and the immersion blender (also excellent). The only item that was a bit meh was the whisk. I haven’t used the ice crushing blade. I have a dedicated super heavy duty machine for that. An all purpose machine is not going to a great job with ice and why put the strain on the motor if you don’t have to. This is a very versatile machine and I can’t imagine that anyone who orders it will not be thrilled with their purchase. Highly recommend.

This almost has too many features, replacing a blender, food processor, mandolin as well as being a great immersion blender. So far I have used it's immersion blender and food processor functions and both have worked great. Only con would be it doesn't come with a way to store everything.

This is a fairly decent multifunctional immersion hand blender that's more or less well-built (expected from Braun though) and for the most part works as expected without issues; however, it does suffer from some limitations typical associated with hand blenders and this is no exception. It's quite versatile and it does include a lot of accessories and attachments that few others have, which I do appreciate and indeed that's one of the primary reasons for the order. That said, it's disappointing to find out that it still does NOT crush ice well, which means it's somewhat useless for smoothies or the like. Similarly, it isn't the best for fibrous veggies or fruits such as broccoli, kale, or pineapple etc. despite the fact that many (if not most) other hand blender also have similar issues. This is advertised as being an 8-in-1 hand blender that includes most of the typical (and perhaps a bit more) accessories you'd ever need. I'm not gonna go through each of 'em in any sort of detail since they are pretty much self-explanatory but I'll just say that the hand blender itself is considered as one so you really only have 7 attachments left that include a puree/masher, whisk, Julienne (shredding/4 pcs & slicing/1 pcs, fine & coarse), French fry disc, kneading hook, food processor (2L/8 cup) with dicer, and finally a chopper (500 ml/2 cup). That's a mouthful and chances are I won't be using all of these, ever (well, never say never I suppose and I digress). In terms of features, it's quite similar to most other hand blenders out there; let's face it, what else can you do with a hand blender. Though, I do like the variable speed control which allows me to make speed adjustments based on how hard I press down the pressure sensitive button. It also has what it calls an ActiveBlade technology where it has a flexible shaft that's able to move the blade up and down (when I press it downwards); however, I don't particularly really find it useful or even effective since the nature of a hand blender is such that I could move it around (up/down, left/right etc.). Granted, it's not exactly the same but my point being I don't find it particularly effective comparing to those that don't have it. I'm a soup lover and I also like broccoli; thus, I tried to use this to make some of my favorite soup with broccoli, potato, lentil, and mushroom etc. While it does work just fine for the most part, I've found that it struggles to completely pulverize broccoli and other fibrous veggies (and/or fruits) required for silky and smooth soups. This is more evident for larger portions as it requires a significant amount of time and effort especially when compared to its previous model (MultiQuick 7). One of the most common recipes for me during summer is the smoothies; unfortunately, it still doesn't crush ice well unless they are small to being with, which kind of defeats the purposes. Initially I thought the ActiveBlade technology would help and be more effective at crushing ice but as it turns out the relatively small(er) blade guard actually make it unsuitable for ordinarily-sized ice cubes (well, at least the ones that I have from the freezer). It's frustrating to say the least to use this as ice crusher and a small single-serve blender could do it in 10 seconds that this wouldn't be able to do in 5 minutes. One of the best features I like about this particular set is that it's easy to use and relatively easy to clean. The EasyClick Plus attachment system (as they call it) is worthy of its name and it's really a snap (almost literally) to change the attachment from one to another. Cleaning is also easy although it's similar to most others that I've come across and reviewed; though, the fact that the blade can move up and down does make it that much easier to clean in my mind. Btw, the driver is made of plastic which is rather disappointing to see. ≡ Value All things considered, this is a decent multifunctional immersion hand blender that's well-made and for the most part works just fine without issues; however, it's not exactly designed for ice crushing, nor is it effective for fibrous veggies and fruits, especially if you want them to be completely liquefied for your silky and smooth soup. That said, it's still quire versatile and easy to work with its EasyClick system and cleaning is a breeze, which I do appreciate; though, I still wish the driver is made of metal instead of plastic for obvious reasons. It's somewhat reasonably priced at $206 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, features, versatility, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
