Unusual Sounds: The Hidden History of Library Music

A Great informative read. I am lucky to have lots of the original UK/US librarys, but to someone that wants to hear this music today, it would prove difficult. So instead of pages of film posters ? at the end, it would have been great to have a CD referance of some/all the library re issues and compilations, since the great Sound Gallery issued in 1996, and onwards including French/Italian Irma /KPM/Easy Tempo/Mood Mosiac/ etc etc. It is still possible to source a lot of these, but they are getting rare (some silly prices) again it is perhaps over 700 and counting..........still difficult to find on streaming sites though update ...quite a few important UK Libraries missing, see Mr Trunks review in July record collector...I agree
