Mifine Led Headlamp- 7 Modes Zoomable Super Bright LED Headlight with Rechargeable Batteries

The Good..There is an XML-T6 in there. The LED is nicely driven. Anyone unfamiliar with the CREE XML-T6 will be amazed at the amount of light. The zoom barrel gets hot after the light is running full power for 5 minutes or so. This is normal, and in a way, it's a good thing. The LED gets hot and that heat must be removed. The zoom barrel gets hot, this helps the LED stay cool. Build quality is surprisingly good for the price. The zoom is nicely damped. The light is comfortable on my head.The Bad...The battery compartment cover is rubber. This doesn't bother me, but it is flimsy. The batteries that are included with the headlamp are probably rebranded batteries or laptop pulls. Don't expect good battery life with the included batteries. If you get 30 minutes on high power, don't blame the light. The light is good. The included batteries are not. Avoid using the included battery chargers. A NiMH battery is finicky about how it is charged. The included chargers may work fine, but I don't use them. To really see what this light is capable of get yourselves a set of Panasonic 3400's or Keeppower 3100's. I use an intellicharger i4. Get yourself hooked up with good, reliable power and you'll fall in love with the 18650 battery.The Ugly...These sellers of products like these usually post impossible specifications. I compared this light with my SRK. The SRK uses three XML-T6 LED's and does about 900 lumens. I doubt this light is doing any more than 550 lumens, which isn't bad at all. This light is bright, but it's not as bright as an aircraft landing light, which is what the advertising hype would like you to believe. It's the same thing with the batteries. There's a good chance that they have been used. You never know with the included batteries. They're rebranded. Some may be good, others not so much.Get the light. You'll like it. Also get yourself a set or two of quality batteries along with a good charger. The included chargers may or may not work well. Personally, I wouldn't use them. Good batteries and a good charger will cost more than the light. This headlamp is worth the investment in a good, reliable power source.

I bought this headlamp in August of 2016, and while I have used it a lot on many many adventures, I obviously haven't used it for anywhere close to 100,000 hours (over 11 years). Now, the batteries don't hold a charge at all, and the headlamp will only turn on if directly connected to a power source which is kind of difficult to do when out and about.That being said, I absolutely LOVED this headlamp before it gave out, which is why I'm still giving it 4 stars despite its current uselessness.- While the battery pack and the light itself are pretty heavy, once the lamp is on my head, I don't feel heavy at all, and the weight and the removable top strap actually kind of help me tell if it's properly and solidly placed on my head. The straps are lined with rubber so the headlamp doesn't slip off which is great when I put this headlamp on over a hood.- This headlamp is insanely bright. Awesome for seeing details at night and very helpful for navigating. I've never run into anyone anywhere on a trail with a brighter headlamp. It's almost too bright for a campsite when you don't need a ton of light inside the tent and you're getting ready for bed; multiple times I have thought about getting a second, dimmer, headlamp purely for campsites when I don't want this sun of a headlamp.As a photographer, I can use this headlamp in astrophotography to create dope dramatic light beams in my photos, but it is way too bright/harsh to use for light painting, unless the light is reflected off something else.- The tilting feature is amazing, and the light easily clicks into place when you move it and stays put. For every situation, this headlamp will tilt into the right position.- I had never heard of a zooming headlamp before, so I was surprised to see how it worked. For this headlamp, you basically just push or pull the light into itself to zoom in/out. Super easy, and a useful feature, although sometimes requires two hands. When I'm searching for something in the dark at a distance, I turn the headlamp on its brightest setting, zoom in, and scan for details. Very helpful.- I've used this lamp in heavy rain, snow, and cold, and it's performed admirably in all conditions. However, the battery pack is only covered by some loose-fitting rubber, so I wouldn't directly submerge this headlamp in water.- When the lamp is on, a red light illuminates on the back where the batteries are, which actually helps people see me and follow me when we're hiking together at night.Since I did really like this headlamp when it was working, I may try to get some replacement batteries to hopefully bring it back to life, but it's disappointing the included batteries didn't last for as long as I would hope or expect. It also kind of sucked that it stopped working while I was on an overnight backpacking trip in the snow in 20-degree F weather, but I lived so no worries. Overall, this headlamp is easy and intuitive to use, solidly built, and I would recommend this headlamp.

This light works great. I use this light on most every project around the house. Once you own it and use it regularly, you won't ever want the inconvenience of having to hold a flashlight when completing a task that requires additional light. I don't know how I ever survived without it. The light is bright, it's adjustable to focus on a smaller location or a wide view, it fits my head well and its easy to use. I do wish the battery lasted longer but I keep it charged and ready for every use and it charges fairly quick.

Impressive! If you’re a pro who uses a light on your hard-hat daily and you’re on the fence about spending the money, ask yourself : how much do you like changing batteries all the time and still struggling to see? The strobe function is silly and pointless (I'd rather see a 'focus' feature on the spot light), but I don’t actually need it), but at least it lets me k ow that I’m one press away from 'off'. I don’t try to save money on tools - I always buy the best I can find. If you’re like me, then this is the head lamp for you.

Really nice. Throws a really bright wide angle beam.Not a fan of the battery cover though. It's just a rubber cover that barely holds in place.Update: lens cover came unscrewed and lost it. Emailed supplier and the expedited one for me right away. Can't beat this light.

Ho vomprato questo articolo ma lo sconsiglio vivamente. Dopo dopchi minuti che è accesa la luce si riscalda tlamente tanto che se volete premere il pulsante per cambiare fonte o speglierla vi si bracia le dita. Qualità del materiale che riveste la lampada è scadentissima. Impossibile da usare perchè è facile scottarsi e meno male che è LED che non scalda molto. Non compratelo. io mi sono pentito

Prodotto ottimo, si vede bene fino a 50/60 m, oltre si vede così così, autonomia ottima, anche per qualità prezzo, la consiglio!

Cette lampe frontale puissante est très pratique pour les sorties nocturnes, le bricolage, .....etc.Un petit bémol: le poids des piles que l'on sent un peu avec le temps ainsi que le fait que la lampe chauffe un peu

Éclaire super bien.Par rapport à la photo j’ai eu l’impression que les lampes etaient un peu volumineuses.Par contre il y a un arceau qui maintien bien la lampe au niveau de la tête et c’est assez léger.Je fais de la marche nordique pendant deux heures avec. Je recommande.

j'etais assez sceptique de cette frontale au début (pas chère, batteries non standard, etc.) mais la puissance et robustesse de la frontale et la durabilité des piles m'ont bien etonnés. Je dis ca au bout d'un mois d'usage quasi-quotidien (sur 1 seule charge). Reste a voir comment l'objet dure dans le temps et avec un usage un peu plus rude. Resistance a la pluie non testé.
