QA Lacking? - Updated Review
Original review Photos 1-3. For $42 - the QA is lacking and the clamp design inferior. The cross bolt is staked into one side with very small engagement press fit.) On 1 ring, the bolt was loosely staked to the base and I could push it out with a finger -- thus no torque to hold the clamp. There was 1~1.5mm (See photo #2 for head of bolt.) engagement of bolt head to base. [Was this set of rings an open package? I could not tell from the clear pack package. The packaging did not have any staples, but it appeared to be factory "NIB". I don't think these rings have even been used. If so, did someone over torque the bolt past 30 in-lbs? There was no sign of galling in the hole.] I would use these only only recoil rifles. The engagement of the base to the 11 mm rail is OK. I like the idea of the plastic ring collars which enable offsets (0.01" or 0.02") - However the offset collars run $10 a set - they should be included. . Package indicated "Made in China" and "INSPECTED", "...finished to perfection..." and "FOREVER WARRANTY" -- they better go back and look at the assembly and QA process. I'm used to high reliability hardware - this was not it. (Cost to make $45, less profit?)UPDATE (Photos 4-5)Raised rating from 1 to 3 * (make that 2.5). Out of 4 rings, I got 3 good ones! I received 2 new rings and used the 10 mil offset collar (extra) for a 1" scope on an 11mm rail for CO2 pellet rifle. This is a zero recoil rifle and the Burris rings are more than adequate. The clamps were tightened to 30 in-lbs per the Burris recommendations. I have put only a few dozen pellets through this gun - but so far it is holding accuracy to 10 yards (3/8" group or less). Again, I would use a dual bolt clamp or similar on a gas-ram or springer with lots of recoil.I wish Burris had a dual bolt design for 1" or 30mm scopes on 11mm rails for a powerful gas-ram air rifle. Aluminum bases with steel inserts for the clamps, or even SS helicoils in the base? Timeout on the soapbox...

Great rings and an easy install
Really good rings honestly. They hold up well too. I’ve installed and removed the same set on a few guns and no issues.

Great for use on rimfire -- avoid for use on springer
Advertized on the Burris website as "Rimfire & Airgun" rings. I have similar Burris rings on a Marlin .22lr and they work great, but the single screw did not have enough clamping power for a .22 Gamo Bone Collector. The pin stop did prevent the rear ring from sliding backward, but over time the clamp starting working its way off the dovetail at an angle. Such a disappointment because the self aligning plastic inserts make these really easy to set up.

Very happy with these
I bought these for a CZ 455 Lux in .22WMR and they went on easily. The bolt clears the scope and even with my iron sights in place it holds the scope in position to have good eye relief. The matte finish looks great with the blued CZ and the signature inserts hold the Burris Droptine scope perfectly. I'm going to get these again when I get my .22LR

Rings True !
Burris Signature rings are the best I have ever used . And I have them on all my rifles now. They have a plastic piece that pivots lining the inside of each ring. This plastic piece grips the scope tube much better with less pressure than normal rings, No lapping of the rings are necessary . Also you can get and change out these plastic center for different off sets to optically center your scope to the target .

High quality scope rings
You cant go wrong with Burris Signature Z rings. They do a rock solid job of mounting your optics. The inserts are fantastic as they do not mar your scope as well you can add insert kits to add up to 20 MOA of scope alignment. Great for long range Rim-fire shooters. I have used these rings on both of my CZ 452fs's and the medium height is perfect. The matte finish matches my weaver optics beautifully. an added plus is the rim-fire rings can mount on 11mm or 3/8" dovetails covering American and European firearms.

Missing Parts, IMHO
These rings are of good quality. BUT, for all the ballyhooing they do about the inserts, you think they'd include all of them. What is the point in just including the concentric inserts? If I decide I need any one of the other non-concentric ones, I have to buy a set of them, and they're not cheap. All they are is molded plastic. Include them! BTW, this is not an Amazon problem, that I can tell, it's a Burris problem. From the Amazon end of things, it's a Five Star rating.

Stress free scope mounting.
I love signature rings with there inserts. They protect your scope and keep it stress free. They don't look as streamlined as some but in this case I'll take function over looks.

Great stuff. Love the angle adjustment inserts.
I've had a few sets of these rings for different rifles. Not having to lap the rings because of the inserts they use is nice. This also avoids scope damage you might get with other rings if you don't lap them. Being able to roughly sight in the rifle with the angle adjustment inserts is another plus if you're worried about running out of adjustment on the scope. This is handy for those people shooting at longer ranges, especially.

Fits CZ 455 American with Leupold 4-12x40 like a glove.
Very good quality, functions as expected.
