I have a 15# Maltese and a 64# St. Bernard mix. For some unknown reason, I have it in my mind that they *need* matching harnesses and I have always used the step in kind vs over the head, so why change now! For the little guy, it's great. It doesn't rub against his neck, lessening the gawd awful sounds he makes when he pulls and chokes himself. The back strap there is the buckle clip and the plastic (more on this later) D ring to attach the leash. When the D rings are hooked to the leash, it puts more tension and tightens th harness, which I really like. While walking, I feel that he is very secure and isn't going to bolt, but he can wear it post walk/travel and be comfy. The lime green looks B-E-A-UTIFUL against his while coat.As for my big girl, she has long skinny legs, a big barrelled check, and a skinnier neck. I got a large for her, (because that is the biggest that is offered), but when it was put on, you can tell it is very snug in the armpits. We use a double walking leash, and she puts more pressure on the leash than little guy, so one of the D-ring was constantly slipping out of the slip of the leash, lessening the security of the harness.So, for small doggies, GREAT CHOICE. For larger puppers, look for something else.

I like the idea of this harness.. My mini labradoodle did manage to escape! So not totally escape proof. i am disappointed that the harness has started to fray around the edges.

My mini Golden doodle has managed to back out of this a few times when he has gotten nervous around other dogs. He literally does it in a split second, frightening indeed. I will say, it does need to be adjusted after his grooming as he shrinks. Not escape proof but overall is a nice harness.

Pros this when fit properly is near impossible for a dog to escape out of which happened to me on another harness. I got this specifically to prevent that and this does in fact work. I have an Australian shepherd puppy weighs 14 lbs and is about 14” around her chest. So this fit perfect with room for adjustment.CONS: they for unknown reasons have very small plastic half moon shaped rings to connect the leash to. Big problem besides plastic can break and I could only fit my smallest of leashes on it, the puppy leash. For training class I was required to get a 6’ leash and none of them would fit the small rings on the harness. The one that did fit would bind up if the leash end rotated and that created a fulcrum where metal against plastic metal wins EVERYTIME. I even called the company and although they use metal rings on other harness they could not tell meWhy they elected to use plastic. I also cannot believe in product development they did not attempt to try and fit any other leashesCommonly used because of the leashes I own only 1 would actually fit. So very simply I broke the plastic connectors off the end which by the way broke very easily with side cutters. I had a Great Dane who’s nails were harder to cut. So I would have ZERO faith in these holding up over time. I replaced them with a couple of key rings I had on hand and ordered some nicer heavier duty rings. Now ANY leash I can connect to and much much easier. I have zero concern about breaking now. I gave it 2 stars because overall the quality is very nice. I for one shouldn’t have to break anything so I could get it to work with other leashes I own. 2nd for the cost of this harness and telling the company I elected to break the ends off and replace tjWith metal rings that you would think they would have offered me a discount on another product especially when I said I would be interested in the other escape proof harness but since we are coming Into spring and summer Fleece is not something I see my long haired dog wearing in the heat but comeCooler weather sure. No discount for the trouble I had to go thru so I discount a star for customer service as well. Now it’s a 5 star harness because I made it that with a couple of cheap rings. Yea let’s take an escape proof harness and put plastic connectors on it so small that only the smallest of leashes will fit. Who is doing the research on this is not the sharpest knife in the drawer especially when they use metal rings on their other harness just makes it all that decision much more stupid and how about at least making it large enough to connect a leashTo? Had this had metal rings it’s a 5 star rated harness and I am not making a phone call to the company. Yes customer service was nice and thanking me for my input. But I had a choice of sending this back and finding something else or destroy part of it so I can make it better and they don’t offer any future discount for my trouble? Why it’s not 5 starsAnd only 2. I can’t I good faith give this 5 stars based on my experience. This is an honest review of overall quality from the harness to the seller. The pictures show the size of the smallest attach points and one where I put in some rings I had and finally some nice colored rings and the leash ends it can now take and take much much easier.

I was excited about an escape-proof harness for our incredibly smart and crafty mid-size rescue, but Large is too small, and there is no XL on offer. Very disappointed because I liked this one for her.

Love this harness, it is our dogs second one. His first one lasted 4 years with lots of use.

Our pooch hesitated, barked and fought when sliding her head into a typical dog harness. Our other dog didn’t mind it. This one does. Go figure. With the Goody design sports harness the dog steps into the harness with both legs, then simply lift up and buckle it behind the neck. Much faster then her other harness and seems secure to me. Removed one star for durability for not using metal rings to attach the leash. Otherwise pretty happy dog and owner.

Harness fits well. Definitely secure. A little awkward getting on at first, but once my dog got used it it, he started to pick his front legs up for me. Much better than trying to squeeze a harness over his head. Also very breathable. My dog does not try to roll around and get this one off after wearing it for 1-2 hours. Def worth it!

El arnés es de excelente calidad, en verdad ayuda a que el perrito por más que lo intente, no se escapará. Además es acojinado de tal manera que no lastima al animalito. Para mi perrita Pug de 9 kilos compré talla grande y le quedó muy bien

This is a great harness - with our new pup getting spooked by all the new sights and sounds I was anxious as to whether he would get free of the harness. But this one is perfect - no escape and no backing out of the harness - gives me great peace of mind when we head off for a walk with his more experienced doggy pal. The three of us (me plus two dogs) can walk with the security of knowing that the little one can't escape even if spooked. Love it - no worries at all.

Muy buen producto. Es de muy buena calidad, mi perrita camina más cómoda y sin lastimarse con la pechera. Tiene un pequeño borde de cojín para no lastimar sus pliegues. El color muy bonito y es aunque fue un poco grande al principio, se pudo ajustar fácilmente a mi pug.

Really nice and soft, well constructed and my pug (who had airway surgery recently) walks around like a champ in it without any breathing problems. I bought the medium in this version and it fits well (my pug is more on the petite size).
