Didn't hold up to the job.
Used these to hang a family sized hammock. After one afternoon of three boys playing in the hammock (none over 100 pounds), one of the caribiners bent open and the strap of the hammock was just barely hanging on. Luckily it didn't bend quite far enough to have the strap slip off or we may have ended up with some injured kids. Photo attached.

Simplifiy my hammock hang
I have a couple of sets of Rallt 12kN spring gate carabiners I use for my hammock which have been just perfect. I needed a couple more carabiners and decided to get a locking set I can easily leave on the ropes and re-purpose the spring gate ones. For cooler weather I leave the undercover, the foam pad and my sleeping bag in the hammock so set up / tear down is tons easier. With these, the carabiner is already in place - all I have to do is set my pack by a tree, get a strap around it, hook on and walk to the next tree - minimal stuff to juggle. Based on experience with my other Rallt equipment (carabiners and straps), I have no doubt these will be reliable and perform well.

So far these are great. I was skeptical because I read a one star review with a photo of one of these bending. (The bending happens even with the ENO manufactured clips that come with the hammock if used incorrectly.) Together we had 335lb. in that hammock and were swinging away with these carabiners.

they do what I need them to
I needed a solid way to lash my bow to my pack, and I think these D-loops are going to do just the trick. Out of the bag they feel really well built. I gave them a nice tug, absolutely no give. Not that I'd expect there to be any at what these are rated for. The gates are very solid and have a satisfying resistance and snap to them. For the price, I was thoroughly impressed by what I got. I'm giving these 5 stars for now, considering what I'm going to use them for. I foresee no problems, but I'll update if I come across any.

Carabinen' in the Caribbean. You have to say it like "carra-be-in" for it to work.
Great carabiners, especially for the price point. Light weight and extremely durable, and they clipped on to my chandelier no problem! I mean, they didn't stay there, but it was the closest thing for me to clip them to. I did originally look at using these to clip a gate shut in my back yard fence, but they're a little too thin up top to do that, but I also needed upgraded clips for my hammock and these seem like they'll fit the bill perfectly.

Worked perfectly
We strung our hammocks with these in a recent foray into Zion National Park ... they worked perfectly. A+ Seller and shipping, will definitely buy again in the future. Simple, lightweight, plenty strong, and fit easily into the carry-bag that was provided with our hammock straps purchased separately.

An exceptional buy!
Hard to get excited about carabiners I suppose but the really are excellent. Light weight, so easy to operate and a high load rating. I use these to attach foam rafts to anchor lines at our cabins, so we can easily combine them, moove them, pull them out when needed. The wire gate is 10X easier to operate than the standard round gate, especially with wet hands. And all aluminum so no concern with corrosion. I just reordered more!

Locks too well.
It frequently gets locked into a position that makes it hard to undo and unclip. I would only recommend this to be used for keys.

Bag holder
We use them on the baby changing bag to attach it to the pram. For this they are perfect quick on and quick off. For climbing not a clue

Great bit of kit. I use them to attach my camera bag to my bike so they have my trust.
