A nostalgic joy to play
I love this thing. Used it on multiple recordings and remote live sessions since getting it a few months ago. A missing piece in my rig that offers simple and elegant musical solutions. With its sound, size and build quality I’m looking forward to taking it out on the road when touring opens up again.

Awesome!
I purchased this about a week ago and am very happy with it. Small, sturdy, easy to use and the sounds are amazing! Very natural and the sounds are like the actual instrument. You can hear the breath on woodwinds, the bow scrapping the strings on cello and violin, the rasp of the sax, etc. The keys have nice action and you can press harder or softer to affect the sound/ attack. It truely is an orchestra and choir in a box. I'll be using this in my home studio for sure. For the price, it would be nice if it came with a carrying case, but it probably won't leave my studio so no big deal on that. Highly recommend if its something you're considering.

Excellent instrument
This is a wonderful re-creation of the famous tape instrument. Around a hundred taped instrument sounds are digitally available and sound as good as an original Mellotron or Chamberlain. Two sounds can be played at once, adding to the versatility.

Neutral Earth mellotron selections
I bought this to use on our debut album Neutral Earth (give a listen on you tube). We use a micro and mini, which you’d be hard to tell the difference between on the album/cd. We also employ a M400. The biggest difference with the mini vs micro is the limit of a 2 octave range with the micro. Very happy with purchase!!!

An orchestra in a box.
I used to pay professional violinist cello players horn players for my recordings. But now I use This Mellotron and I can’t tell the difference. This is fabulous for the price of a guitar I get 100 instruments.
