The thing that strikes you first is what a fantastic looking brush this is - the photos don't do it justice.This is an absolute steal at the price - I bought it as a travel brush and am delighted that I did so.My everyday shaving brush is a Kent silvertip badger brush and this was the first synthetic brush that I have tried so was very curious. It lathers up well but is fairly firm, with little spread of the hairs when applied to the face. (You can see from my attached photo how the knot stays firmly in shape even when lathered up). This is unlikely to be a major issue for you, but is the reason why the Kent is my everyday brush because I prefer a bit more "give" when lathering up.Overall the Yaqi is an excellent shaving brush and will keep an eye on them for future products - I know that they have some badger brushes that are likely to hit the UK in the not too distant future...

This is my first non-badger shaving brush (and I've been shaving for over 50 years!) and what a revelation: the Sagrada Familia Fibre Shave Brush is much kinder to the skin than any expensive badger brush I ever used before, it doesn't cost the earth and is pleasing to look at. It's actually really beautiful, I dare say. Thank you Yaqi fo a few feel-good minutes every morning! . Another nice touch: when I contacted Yaqi Customer Service, they promptly replied with a personal email. Both company and product thoroughly recommended.

Bought this upon a recommendation. Has a great handle, easy to hold. The knot is both silky smooth and a perfect size. It lathers well either in a bowl or directly onto the face. It also is a great looking brush to have sitting at the side of your sink. Oh and no hairs shed at all in use. If you're a stickler for original badger hair brushes, just try one of these. I have a badger hair brush too and it's good but this feels great from new and I've hardly used the badger since. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic shaving brush for the money — in fact it's a great brush at any price. The handle is well finished, looks good and is comfortable. The knot whips up lather fast, and feels comfortable on the face. It hasn't shed a hair, even on the first use, and there was no breaking in period or smell of wet dog to get rid of. It feels different to natural hair brushes, but is just as effective as even the best of them, if not more so.

I have boar bristle brushes which will be really great in time. This brush needs no breaking in. It's incredibly soft and smooth. It hasn't any back bone,as you would expect from a synthetic. Works best on shaving creams rather than soap, use your boars for soap. The knot is nicely large and the handle beautiful. Putting lather on with this brush is sublime. It's like being stroked with the hands of an angel on a good day. If you are hesitating getting one of these, don't. Treat your face and add this to your collection.

I was a little dubious at first as it as the bristles are not natural, however there was no need to worry. The bristles are very soft, they keep their shape and most importantly they do not fall out. Highly recommended.

I have several shaving brushes and this is by far the softest. I use this more for shaving creams, and use my sturdier boar brushes for harder soaps. Very happy with this purchase though. A great shaving brush.
