Some people are afraid
She never uses it. The Thermos Queen. She’s afraid of the copper i think. Copper def has a smell to it, and ur not supposed to leave water in there for too long in case of copper leaching. The water will def taste different in a good way. The color and craftsmanship are there. I believe it is actually made from real copper.

Leaks because it does not seal
Squeaky (that happens) does not seal! Water drips from it with the cap on. I literally use it to hold up a cabinet!

Can't hurt, can it?
Getting the lid broke in to thread on right has been about the only challenge. Seemed to thread on a little rough for a while, but seems smoother now. I like to let it sit overnight to get the most out of the copper.
