It was easy to program for the television but not for the Set Top Box. I had to contact Spectrum support, but they were helpful and gave me the information I needed. The Remote control is visually exactly like the one directly from Spectrum, and it works perfectly on all the features I have needed to use up to this point. Based on it's performance so far, I would definitely buy another one.

I bought this as a replacement remote for my grandma’s cable box. It was very easy to program to her cable box as I used another review for guidance and held the menu button and then the number one and it worked right away after doing that. It actually was harder getting it to work with the TV itself in terms of controlling the power button and volume but I eventually got it going after trying different suggestions from the instructions it came with. I would say it maybe took a half hour, if that to get it working completely. I would definitely buy it again if needed.

I ordered this as a replacement remote in case one of my primary remotes gets lost. I rent a condo, and making sure I have remotes for the TVs is critical for my guests. This arrived quickly and was well priced.

It looks exactly like my Spectrum remote, but does not do more than adjust volume on my Spectrum cable box. It does absolutely nothing with my TV.

The enclosed instructions were not one bit helpful. My remote was not programmed to the Spectrum box and the instructions give no mention how to do that. I looked at a Youtube video to find out that you need to point the new remote to the Spectrum box and simultaneously push the blue button with the horizontal lines and the 2 button just below it until the input button lights twice. Then my remote was programmed to the Spectrum box. Now.........to program the remote to the TV, turn on the TV and use the now programmed remote and push only the blue button with the horizontal lines on it and a help screen will appear. Navigate with the down arrow below the blue button to "Settings & Support". Drop down to the "Support" button and push it and you'll see an option for "Remote Control". Press this button and another screen will appear with the option of "Pair Remote to TV". Follow the instructions to find your TV brand. If the TV brand doesn't pair to the remote, there is an option to input a 5 digit remote code for your TV brand. You can find the codes on Spectrum.nt/spectrumremote. Hopefully this will help you out. I unfortunately had to pair both the Spectrum box and the TV and I still need to use the actual TV remote to turn the TV on, but the newly purchased remote does all the rest. I can live with that.
