I became tired of being ripped off by the big name razor manufacturers and paying absolutely RIDICULOUS prices for even five razor blades! It has become a joke and so I grew a beard just to cut them out!I’m 2007 I travelled in the Trans-Siberian Railway through winter for eight days from Moscow and one of the other passengers was a project manager for Gillet (the razor company). I quizzed him (I’m an independent investigative journalist/editor so I ask questions) and during our conversations I asked him exactly how much a unit (one blade unit) cost to manufacture, market, and sell? He told me less than one pence (GBP00.006… yes six tenths of one pence!) I was disgusted at the company’s greed.I challenged him about the retail price and he said because we can charge that and people will pay it because they don’t know how to shave with anything else. He told me ‘we promote insecurity through the fear of being cut and pain and discomfort’ so the customer won’t buy the other blades that have been used of millennia.I’ve used a straight razor… once you learn the technique it’s not a problem and you get a truly FANTASTIC shave.I’ve used safety razor blades like this razor uses and once you employ a little common sense it’s very safe and you get another great shave.So I decided to shave and be hairless on my chin. This razor is vey good quality and it got great style too. Easy to use and the blade changing is so simple.I also bough 100 blades (20 x 5 blades) to go with it and they’re excellent.A point to note: the blades do the cutting so the best blades you can buy us always a good idea. The materials science that goes into good blades is very advanced.The cost of the 100 blades: next to nothing!This razor is very comfortable and easy to handle. I’m very happy I bought it especially as my shaving costs are cutting out the greedy big corporations that screw us over by lying to us just to steal our money!

It shaves ok. Very good for the price. It cannot in any way be compared to the futur potato peeler, which i love & use a lot of the time. It is very light & has no balance point. Also it is not really aggressive, relatively speaking, provides a nice close shave just the same.I see someone bemoaning the fact that top razors cost too much?. The cost largely is justified. When you shave with this & a futur, you quickly realise where the money goes!. A good purchase overall, i will be happy to include it into my extensive razor collection, and use it regularly. Provided it does not break or fall apart in some way or other!.

I really like the way this thing looks, and the adjustment is a nice feature. Unfortunatly the cut is different on both sides of the razor, which makes getting a consistent shave difficult. I tried moving the blade around, turning the top around, but nothing helped. It's a shame as I really wanted to get along with this thing, but now it is just collecting dust.

I guess you get what you pay for, because this razor is complete rubbish. Better shaves from a bic, save your money. I use Astra platinum blades, very good quality, but the head positioning is awful.

Der Rasierer wurde schnell geliefert jedoch ohne Rasierklingen, die hab ich extra bestellt. Es gibt 6 Einstellstufen was vollkommen ausreichend ist. Das Material des Rasierer und das Aussehen ist sehr schön. Der Preis ist gegenüber gleichwertigen Produkten mehr als in Ordnung. Ich habe mich ohne Rasierspiegel bereits dreimal rasiert ohne mich zu schneiden und den Rasierer auf Stufe 3 eingesrellt habe. Es war ein gutes Rasierergebnis. Ich kann den Kauf des Rasierhobels nur empfehlen.

No le puedo poner ninguna pega a la maquinilla y a la funda.Después de varios afeitados, puedo decir:Las hojas de doble filo ajustan perfectamente.Construcción robusta.No se suelta la tapa de la cabeza con facilidad.Bien presentada.Por el precio que tiene, un 10.Cuidado con pasar del 4 ya que desde ahí, apura bastante.La única pega es que es un poco cabezona y voluminosa

Ciao a tutti, ho preso questo rasoio come banco di prova prima di acquistare un Merkur Futur, proprio per le caratteristiche simili e perché non ho mai provato un regolabile. Appena arrivato, l'ho testato subito su una barba di tre giorni e devo dire che ne sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto. Detto questo passiamo ai dati tecnici. Ho personalmente scritto all'azienda produttrice (cosa non facile visto che non hanno un sito internet), per chiedere informazioni su materiale ecc. È interamente in zinco (non in acciaio!) che a fine produzione riceve un processo di galvanizzazione, in maniera che non arrugginisca e che il metallo non venga intaccato da agenti esterni (saponi,acqua, disinfettanti ecc). La lavorazione avviene totalmente in maniera meccanica (l'azienda madre mi ha gentilmente inviato, non uno ma ben due video della fase di produzione). Solo alla fine il prodotto viene visionato da addetti qualità. Devo dire che i macchinari che hanno per realizzare i rasoi sono da paura! Li fanno in zinco e non in acciaio per limitare il costo e riuscire a raggiungere più persone possibile. Il peso è di 87 grammi spaccati. Ma veniamo alla rasatura. Rade bene, le regolazioni sono precise, l'ho messo subito sotto sforzo impostandolo a 6 e sollevando la testa per farla ruotare fuori posizione. Nessun problema rilevato, una volta rimesso in sede le regolazioni tornano precise come prima. Nessuna bava sul metallo o imperfezioni (almeno nel mio). Posizionato a 3 ho avuto un attimo di incertezza perché la lama la sentivo bene (ho usato una Astra verde che per me è la lametta test per eccellenza). L'ho quindi settato a 2 e dopo la prima mezza passata ho capito che potevo tranquillamente radermi a 3, l'incertezza era solo mia il rasoio è delicato. Alla fine l'ho provato fino a 4 e mezzo e non mi sono tagliato ne irritato,premetto che mi rado con Shavette, quindi la manina c'è l'ho già buona. Se usato da un neofita penso che un 2 e mezzo sia più che sufficiente all'inizio. Dopo il contropelo ho raggiunto un buon grado di BBS. È un vero trattorino, fatto molto bene, ha due grandi scanalature sul fondo che fanno passare sapone e peli con agilità; basta un piccolo risciacquo per pulirlo e continuare la rasatura come nulla fosse. Lo testerò con barba di una settimana, se a 6 mi troverò bene comprerò anche il Merkur (basterebbe questo ma io ho una scimmia sulla spalla che non mi molla quando si parla di rasoi). Un consiglio trattatelo con cura ed evitate cadute brusche se possibile, non sembra delicato ma non sono sicuro al 100% della sua solidità. Il meccanismo del cambio lama è spiaccicato a Merkur e Qshave e lo trovo molto pratico e veloce. La lametta non si muove ed è centrata bene, l'apertura risulta perfettamente pari da entrambi i lati. Che dire se non avete come me il bisogno malato di avere 300 rasoi, questo potrebbe anche essere una scelta definitiva! Fa tutto! Barba lunga e quotidiana. Non vedo l'ora di testarlo su una barba di 6-8 giorni con una Kai o una Feather. Compratelo con tranquillità costa meno del Qshave ed veramente ma veramente un bel rasoietto. Consegna Amazon avvenuta con cura top come sempre!

Bra hyvel till ett väldigt väldigt bra pris - det hade varit bra för bara rakhyveln, men här följer även ett fint läderfodral med.Inte speciellt agressiv, även på den högsta inställningen så om du vill ha en agressiv rakhyvel är det här nog inte rakhyveln för dig. Men för mig som är nybörjare är den perfekt, och jag kan verkligen inte klaga på effektiviteten, och jag har ändå ganska grov skäggväxt.Kan hålla med om att jag blev lite förvånad över att det inte låg med ens ett blad i paketet, men till det priset klagar jag verkligen inte.
