When Riddles Come Rumbling: Poems to Ponder

The students enjoyed hearing these poems and I am finding many more uses as the year progresses.

I love using this book with students in grades 3-5 to get them predicting and to use their inference skills. I have created a way to cover up the illustrations for the first read which I subsequently remove to allow my students to confirm their predictions. The answer is cleverly hidden in the illustrations as well. Students love this book.
