Great extension for a 9.5hp Johnson
Extension came in a timely manner. You do need to replace the bolt with a slightly bigger one if you want the handle to reach in all the way on a 1964 Johnson 9.5. But it works great. Obviously it's not going to feel like an original tiller, but it feels sturdy enough where you know it won't fail. After a 3 hour ride at WOT with my wife and teen, the spin nut did get loose, but nothing a little thread lock can't fix. Definate recommendation, and way better than my PVC invention that would come loose. If it where ever to break, I would buy it again. Well worth the $25 for a 30" tiller extension.

Works well after repairs.
Both the hand grip and the locking mechanism slip. I added two pop rivets to the grip and a stainless steel pin to reinforce the locking mechanism.

Tiller grip
Tillerhandle was great but the grip slip not really turn it in forward or reverse so I ended up having to put two screws to make it hold other solution might be to use golf club grip tape

Works great! I use it on my Mercury 25 HP EFI and it makes boating easier.
I like the fact there is a hole at the grip base so that you can reach the factory cut-off switches on Mercury outboards or the power trim on E-tec Evinrude motors.

Nice upgrade for my outboard.
Very easy to install on my mercury 4hp outboard. It extends my control arm to make it more comfortable to steer.
