The Thompsons

I liked this movie. not the best I have ever seen but still good. It has BOOBS in it. Shows BOOBS several times, that must be why I liked it. lots of killing, blood, and best of all happy ending.

This movie was different entertaining and I did enjoy the ending. New twist on Vampires not too Gory, not traditional or predictable ' I loved the little brother regaining his strength' his attack on that lady was priceless.

This was Gory Fun. I don't get the comparo listed, but it certainly didn't disappoint! I didn't feel the Twilight love but was fun on its own merit!

Good twist on the Vampire movie. Much better than the Hamiltons. I liked the story line and actors better in this one.

Hoping for better. A little bit too much gore for me; I prefer the romantic vampires, especially with powers. The only character Ii really liked & was interesting was the non-vampire daughter of the vampire family in England. Acting wasn't bad, but story just fell flat for me. It could have been a lot more interesting although there was some character development. Interesting premise. Did not like Father vampires teeth/fangs, especially since other vampires teeth/fangs seemed more realistic...that is if you believe real vampires exist.

Wasn't as good as the 2nd installment. Necessary to watch in order to enjoy part 2. All in all... I liked it.

The Thompsons is a sequel to The Hamiltons, and it interests fans of the first film. When The Thompsons is good, this twisted tale is a palatable horror treat. When it is bad, the story and dialogue become stupider than stupid. Also, The Thompsons has a different setting and approach from The Hamiltons. When the new works, it is a nice surprise. When it doesn't, the film-makers have forgotten the secret of their previous success.

Not your usual vampire movie. The story is not ordinary while being set in a very ordinary village: Is it set in England or New Zealand, I forgot. Basically, the storyline is about the encounter of two families of untypical vampires. They are daywalkers and not the Dracula-type. If you enjoy a good vampire movie you will like this one as it is not your typical one.

I "fratelli macellai" abbandonano l'atmosfera ketchumiana del primo capitolo per tuffarsi in eccessi tarantiniani e narrazione in flashforward. Ci guadagnano in violenza e splatter (l'inizio nel bosco con la coppietta seviziata e maschere di pelle umana alla Leatherface, il massacro al dinner, gole squarciate), ma non evitano alcune banalità (le zanne, le lotte ipertrofiche tra i due clan di vampiri, gli occhi rossi). Tutto sommato il sequel regge, tra schizzi ematici, faide vampiriche e qualche idea azzeccata (le vampire da allevamento). Film sui vampiri dalla trama cosi e cosi,una famiglia scappa e cerca chi possa curare il fratello piu giovane rimasto ferito,si imbattono in una famiglia inglese della loro stirpe e li iniziano dei problemi...film di stampo televisvo,che riserva qualche piccola emozione,da vedere se amate il genere altrimenti rivolegetevi altrove!Blu ray mediocre,nessun extra,immagine discreta ed errore sulla traccia audio italiana,sul retro è segnalata 5.1 ed invece è un mediocre 2.0!Incredibile che vengano ancora prodotti blu ray con un misero audio 2.0!!

ho comprato il film leggendo le recensioni sulla scatola del blu ray ma non è lonatamente parente delle serie e film indicate ... un horror movie di serie b guardabile ma che non si avvicina ai top del genere... buono per completare la collezione dei film dei succhiasangue

brutto il film brutti i personaggi, la voce data al vampiro giovane che fumava sempre era odiosa da sentire la trama niente di più non lo consiglierei a nessuno sopratutto a chi piace vedere film sui vampiri. una stella è anche troppo.
