everything works as advertised. keyboard and mouse all work just as well as the original. note i have the original surface pro kb (not the flex). for that comparison, you are getting something similar at 1/3 the cost (no automatic charging and connection, but in return you have bluetooth). if you compare instead to the flex which comes with bluetooth, now you are talking 1/7th the price, and all you lose is the automatic charging when connected. i also like the fuzzy material that is trying to replicate the alcantara. you can see the color is a little off, but it doesnt really matter since neither matches the tablet color anyway (ive also had the sapphire). bt keyboards are usu at least $20, and adding a mouse/trackpad you are talking about $30-40. to make this fully compatible with our surface pros, with magnetic attachment and doubling as a cover case, i think another $10-20 is very justifiable. keep in mind that many standalone surface pro cases are already over $20. theres even the same storage area for a stylus and the similar texture to alcantara. a good match over all!

Love this keyboard so far... Works a lot like OEM except of course proprietary connection is not present so it is BLUETOOTH, which means you have to keep it charged (which is not a problem.. Ive had it a week and.. no need to charge yet.. Keyboard is a bit MORE tactile than OEM.. keys have deeper CLICK... feels GREAT and works great.. I wish I could disable the TRACKPAD.. which you can do with OEM keyboard.. It kinda gets in the way and will have you TYPING in the wrong place if you touch it while typing.. Keys LAYOUT are almost IDENTICAL TO OEM which is good because I have THREE surface systems.. Great product.. Love the BLUE and love the3 micrro-FELT feel of keyboard.. so far so good..

Very mixed review. I already have keys falling off the keyboard. It is a pain to charge via USB C all the time, but its something I have worked around. Recently, my keyboard's function mode changed and is now locked in the wrong mode. I can't find a way to fix it back and there is almost no documentation. I may have to warranty this keyboard just because the keys keep falling off. For the money, I would have rather had the genuine one, but I couldn't find it with a proper US keyboard. Overall the value for the cost is okay. I do love the color and light options of this keyboard though,
