Atv tire studes
Very well made and easy to install, fast delivery. I actually counted them when I devided them up for all 4 wheels on my atv and found there were 6 extra. Waiting for the lakes to freeze so I can try them. They should help with traction and control. I will be using hem on a 500 Arctic Cat atv with Kendra Executioner tires for ice fishing. Tracks are to expensive, this looks like the next best thing.

Cleats for Wading Boots
These traction screws in the one-half inch length make a great cleat/stud for fishing wading boots. Good traction, long-lasting and easy to install. A much better choice than the absurdly overpriced cleats sold by the boot manufacturers in fishing shops. Get these and you'll have plenty to give to your fishing buddies, too!

Glad to recommend
I used these traction screws as additional stability provided by 5/ boot cleats on my wading boots. At ~.19 per screw they proved to be a great value. They performed very well as I felt the additional stability that 5 cleats per boot would simply not have been able to muster by themselves. The typical recommendation is 10 wading cleats per boot, but at almost $4/ cleat, it became almost cost prohibitive. These screws made up the additional support difference for a much more efficient price. From a pure stability perspective, these screws may not have totally replaced 5 additional cleats per boot. But for my money, these were clearly the way to go and provided more than adequate stability in ~175 cfs water.

Great traction for my snowmobile
I have a 1996 Ski Doo Tundra II and pull a Clam X2 ice shelter, which is very heavy. If there isn't a lot of snow on the ice I will get stuck, spinning in one place. I decided to try these Kold Kutter's out and I'm glad I did. Installation was a breeze. I put a dab of red Threadlocker on the screw and then drove them through the lugs with my cordless drill, only putting 1 screw per lug. I put 4 screws across the track, turn the track to the next set of lugs and then put 2 in the middle. I continued this pattern until the entire track was covered. It took about an hour from start to finish and I wasn't trying to break any records. I took my machine on the ice today fishing and never spun the track once making pulling my shack a breeze. After a quick inspection it appears I didn't lose any screws from the track, but only time will tell. I'll update later after I use the machine on the ice some more.

These work great in Stabilicers!
I used these as replacement cleats for Stabilicers. The 1/2 length fits perfectly and they work great. The Kold Kutters use a finer thread than the stock Stabilicer screws - it takes more turns to screw in, but holds well when in place. The head design on the Kold Kutters is a little taller and sharper than the stock cleat - this makes them grip better, but wear down a bit faster - not a big deal given that a bag of 250 is fairly cheap.

Fall On Your Ass Or Buy These And Be Safe
I wish I had found these years ago. I had been putting sheet metal screws in boots and shoes, but they didn't last very long. I believe these will. I have them in a pair of boots, slip on shoes, and a pair of clogs. All my bases are covered from clearing snow from my driveway, checking the mail, and walking on packed snow and ice when taking my dog out.I took some screws to North Dakota when visiting my daughter over Christmas. I made ice shoes for her and my son-in-law. Perfect timing since Christmas day they had a freezing rain that made everything into a skating rink. They were quickly impressed the first time they went outside and weren't worried about falling. I gave the remaining screws to my granddaughters so they could make ice shoes when they went back home. Of course I immediately ordered more for myself. YakTrax can go hide themselves in shame. There is no way they can compare to the performance of Kold Kutters.

Good for ATV tracks
Purchased a bag of 250 to put in in my ATV tracks (camoplast). There were more than enough to two in every other set of lugs. Probably enough to put them in each lug.

I used these 1/2” length Kold Kutters on my 1997 ...
I used these 1/2” length Kold Kutters on my 1997 ski doo long track as a setup for ice fishing on glare ice. I installed with a dab of Loctite superglue and did not predrill, as you may need to with longer lengths. I installed about 150 in a couple hours, which was faster that anticipated. I used this machine 3 times since on glare ice, and haven’t spun the track at all. All screws have held so far. One of my fishing buddies was so impressed he installed on his machine as well.

Works well, seems durable.
Have about 12 hours of an ice/snow/ logs and dozen dirt on these. Traction, if you use 75 is per tire is more than adequate for winter trail / woods riding.Minimal wear so far. Good product.
