Work amazing! Love this thing!
Works amazing at pulling hair straight from roots even when hair is short. Leaves skin irritatated for a couple days (which is expected especially after plucking all the hair out) but after a couple days skin is super smooth and soft. Takes about 4 weeks for new hair to grow in. Hurts alot the first use but after hair starts to grow back in thiner it starts hurting less and less.

Effective Hair Removal with Long-Lasting Results
The Philips Satinelle epilator works exceptionally well for removing even the shortest hairs. It’s a bit uncomfortable at first, but much more effective and longer-lasting than shaving. The device is compact, easy to handle, and simple to clean. It leaves the skin smooth for weeks, and over time, I’ve noticed that hair grows back more slowly and finely. A great investment for anyone looking for a reliable at-home hair removal solution.

Medieval but effective torture device indeed
This is a great little gadget. I was looking at pricier versions but as this was my first try at epilating, I decided to try this one. Very happy with the performance at around a $30 price point. It removed most of the hairs on my legs really well but did leave behind a lot of the super fine hairs. I don’t think my legs were properly exfoliated so the bigger ones it missed was because of that. Pain level for legs was maybe of five out of 10. Very manageable. I also epilated my armpits, which was crazy painful but I did it. The massage head helped a lot in that area, but woooo….that was a rough area.

PCOS approved
As a PCOS gal, I needed something that would give me longer-lasting results than shaving. I'd tried waxing in the past but wanted to simplify my process - a swipe and go sort of deal. This does just that. The noise it makes threw me at first but once I got to using it, it worked flawlessly. It got everything except the little hairs that hadn't yet come out fully from under the skin. My skin didn't hate the process either. I applied cooling gel after using the epilator and it felt great. My skin was a bit red afterwards but it wasn't irritated like when I was shaving every day. I used it August 1st, and it is now August 9th and I used it again today, but only because the hairs trapped under the skin finally came out. That to me is a win. I feel confident after all of these years.

The most affordable, efficient, convenient, least painful and least wasteful hair removal method!
As someone who has tried pretty much any and every method of hair removal under the sun, I think this is the one that I'll be sticking with for good. One of the main complaints I have seen is that it hurts, but I say if you've ever waxed your legs and survived, then trust me, you'll survive an epilator. I personally think that this hurts less than waxing, and that's coming from someone with a low pain tolerance. It's so easy to clean, not that it needs much maintenance at all. It comes with its own little brush to brush out the few hairs that might get stuck in the machine, and the parts are easy to take apart, and not complicated at all to put back together. The only things to complain about this item, are 2 minor things: It is loud. Like, LOUD. The noisiness was the most intimidating part when trying it for the first time. The second would be that the chord could be a little longer, so it doesn't fall/pull off so easily from the machine. This doesn't happen often, but I can see it being bothersome for some.Over all, I have converted into a walking ad for this epilator LOL.Compared to shaving, waxing, threading, Nair, etc, I find this method to be the most affordable, efficient, convenient, least painful, least wasteful, and honestly, the results are also much more long lasting.

Painful but GREAT
WHEW!This lil gadget is PAINFUL! *INITIALLY*All the reviews here line up. I wanna preface by saying the hair under my arms & on my legs grows sooo fast. Legs, seriously a good cold chill comes on & I'm a cactus w/ in hrs.The initial use of this hurts sooo bad. So bad. BUT *IF* you can make it through that initial run the pain is MUCH tolerable after! When the hair does grow back in, it will grow in diff areas so you can just touch up, which also makes it much less painful. But the hair under my arms literally hasn't grown back under my arms in some areas for a couple wks & what has came through I just epilate right off. The hair on my legs does come back a little faster than under my arms but literally NIGHT & DAY difference to the growth in comparison to shaving. The pain & $$$ is 100% worth it. Would def recommend this product!

Honest review
Pros: it does work, cheaper than waxing or laser. Left skin soft and smooth.Cons: loud, not cordless, it is not painless bearable yes, but not painless, it’s not a one swipe. Because hair grows in multiple directions you have to swipe in multiple directions. There isn’t anything to catch the hair, it just goes everywhere. Mine didn’t come with a pouch as advertised. Shaving would be easier, it not a fast process. It does the job. I’ll keep because I used it and because who wants to shave every other day in the summer. Would I buy it again mehhhh I could take it or leave it
