Works grate! Will buy more
Perfect size. Bought multiples for a few different things one with the use of an adaptor i can dump all my video and pictures off my phone when i hike using max setting on my phone 8k video and maxed settings on thr picture resolution the files can be huge but the write speeds are perfect. I am in the elements and have had no issue with them. I also load this up with audiobooks for play back in my car. It reads fine. Very tough little usb I will be buying more at the price point you cant beat what you get awesome value. The design takes up very little space and the cap can be taken off and it will click on to the back so you dont lose it when in use.

Very great. Fast, enough storage, portable
Easy to transfer the images to the chip. The storage is enough for extra things and all my other stuff fit. When transferring things over it was quick no delays. And it didn’t heat up, but I was transferring over small files from games so It could depend.

Sturdy Well Made
I've been using this a lot. I carry it on my key chain every day. It holds up. I wish the cap had a lanyard I tend to leave it places and have to hunt for it, but the cap is sturdy and what make it hold up in my pocket.

Was great before I almost discovered fire.
Worked good while it lasted but it was my fault but the toughmax only means when enclosed and covered. My laptop slid off my lap while sitting on the couch, so about 2 feet on the USB side. My computer blacks screened, I heard sizzling/sparking, assumed it was the USB, tried to pull, it was jammed, I pulled it harder. USB bent, USB port on laptop fried, data on USB is unobtainable since its bent and shorts any USB hub it touces... The USB feels sturdy if ran over or stepped on. Since the USB is dead, I tried to bend the metal USB part from the body. See photo with marker for scale

Great for storing data in a fireproof safe!
I bought these flash drives for storing some data in a fireproof safe. The safes are typically rated not to exceed 350° F internal temperature for a specified amount of time and are primarily meant to make sure that paper documents are not destroyed. While this flash drive has an official rating of up to 300° F, it seems to actually function just fine up to 350° F. I filled the flash drive with data and baked it twice at 350° F in the oven for 1 hour each time (and did it again with a different ToughMAX flash drive for another hour). The data on the entire flash drive survived without any corruption based on hashing it before and after. There was just one caveat - after the first one hour of baking, the plastic within the USB connector deformed (the flash drive was baked with the plastic on top, so it bent down) and I could no longer plug the flash drive in. However, after baking it again, but this time with the plastic on the bottom, the deformation corrected itself and the data on the flash drive was still fine. Lastly, I baked it for 1 hour at 400° F and the data did get corrupted (not really sure to what extent - none of the 300 100MB files on the drive had the correct hash). However, new copies of the data wrote and read correctly to/from the flash drive, so it seems that the flash drive may still be usable, though I personally don't intend on trusting it any more. So, I think these are fine to use for storing data in a fireproof safe, but (1) store them with the plastic in the USB connector on the bottom and (2) maybe store a couple copies of the data - both on separate flash drives and within the same flash drive just to be more cautious.

Not Reliable. Loses/Corrupts Data.
I bought two of these earlier this year (2025). I bought one and then a few weeks later, I bought another. I used these to put songs on to play in my vehicles stereo --- yeah, not the most current thing, but I wanted to keep my music in the vehicle and not link or require my phone to listen as I drive. I bought another for the stereo in our camper. At first, I thought they were great... but then I realized, we're missing some songs. Both of these things 'lose data'. By that, I mean that files either completely disappear or else the file names get corrupted so that the stereo skips over them. Keep in mind this is happening on both thumb drives on two entirely differnet stereo systems. And now when I plug them in the USB socket of any PC; the data transfer to/from these things is about ONE PERCENT of what is expected. I erased one and copied my music to it (21 albums)... well, two days later, it hasn't finished. This device disconnects from windows (either one of the two 64gb thumb drives) and the transfers just freeze. I've tried multiple radios, multiple computers, etc... the problem is these two thumb drives; everything else is working correctly.

Simple, rugged, USB 2.0 specs. Exactly what I needed.
Looking for a reliable, USB 2.0 device in a pinch, I picked this little guy up and while it is no frills on a thumb drive front, it is rugged and worked perfectly fine as a solid 2.0 based drive that I needed at the time. Some older devices have a harder time doing things like booting from faster 3.0 drives so you need an older 2.0 drive to more guarantee support and this drive did just fine in my case. Not the fastest drive though so even though it's 2.0 speeds, it's still on the slower side with writes. No frills except the compatibility and the ruggedness but it does the trick.

This is one DURABLE flash drive; and no doubt, due to the Proprietary KyronMAX material it’s made with! If it’s good enough for use in fighter jets, as advertised, it should be good enough for us. I appreciate the hole provided for use with a lanyard as it’s so compact, as well as its high water and temperature resistance and Verbatim’s limited lifetime warranty. And, although I rarely need one, Verbatim also offers downloadable password protection software. The USB 2.0 is not the fastest, but it’s more than adequate for my needs. and the cap fits very securely. I’m happy with this purchase, and especially for the price.

Parou de funcionar. Na verdade nem tinha usado ele direito antes. Tinha apenas testado e aparentemente estava ok. Mas 3 meses agora após a compra fui de fato precisar usar e ele dá erro e não transfere mais arquivo nenhum.
