Buy refill cartridges!
The pen worked twice then died. That tells me the pen has been sitting for a long time or was not stored properly. I ordered a 2 pack of refills because this pen is a really good idea for teachers. I gave it 3 stars because the pen is going to be really useful when my refills arrive.

I liked the pens (2) but applied thin strips of skate-board ...
I have dexterity problems - loss of sensation in my finger-tips, coupled with an "action tremor" so holding a pen is difficult. I liked the pens (2) but applied thin strips of skate-board tape to increase gripping ability. As with all Parker pens and refills, these are great but better with the tape for my situation.

Best Pen Ever
I love this pen especially with a fine ball point refill. Great pen if you love an old school ball point ink - I've never been a fan of gel ink. The pen sits well in your hand. I do not use the lanyard it seems a little loose.

a perfect pen
I bought this because after many years my only Slinger pen became detached from the lanyard (without my knowledge) and i lost the pen. I like this one much better. The lanyard cap holds the pen securely.
