NOT ADJUSTABLE - BE WARNED
This machine is not effective. I was very unhappy with this. Big waste of time. The directions dont say celcius or Fahrenheit . You cannot adjust the time or the temperature - i don't care what the is says - its not possible,. You can only change the function and you are stuck with whatever hour and time it has for that function

Be independent from store yogurt
Easy to use. Just need to be patient with you amount of probiotics. But you'll get it. Live not having to buy yogurt as so many have a lit of sugar in them. Yes you need some sugar dr for the bacteria to eat but nit 10+grams

It was good until.......
I bought this yogurt maker to make yogurt and natto at home. It has this yogurt/natto/rice wine making functions and also comes with a manual. Tried making natto it was quite good but the steel container left some color mark on the white plastic main container. I am a bit skeptical about it's quality and idk if we can consume the natto now.

I really enjoyed this. It can be hard to find vegan yogurt but this machine makes it so easy! Highly recommend

Unacceptable lack of temperature regulation
Returned as defective. I used a water bath to ensure even temperature but the 40 degrees Celsius setting read 58 degrees at the center of the pot. (About 38 degrees fahrenheit above human body temperature. The center bowl was hot to touch so I measured the contents - 138°F! I wish I had taken a photo of that measurement. nearly twn minutes after removal it was still a grossly unacceptable 123°F. These are temperatures BEYOND the maximum the unit is supposed to allow.Purchased this to make supergut fermented milk yogurt to culture expensive probiotics into billions of CFU's, These temps mean I got zero CFU's, all dead probiotics and a food product too sour to eat,even after resting 48 hours in the refrigerator.I was hopeful. Despite many reviews that the settings were not adjustable, you can actually set the panel to adjustable time and adjustable temp, whose maximum and minimum are different given one of the three options. Mine was easy to set to whatever time or temp I wanted in a least one of the three modes.Since the yogurt setting only went to 12 hours and I needed 36 hours, I just used another mode and adjusted my time and temp for that.The unit leaked condensation across the front panel and pooled underneath. I stood it on the "deluxe box" promised in the item description (a lowgrade short fiber cardboard shipment box, not fraud but very misleading-- the listing has been updated by the seller to call this "perfect packaging" now, but why this is even mentioned, is ridiculous.). I used the box as a stand because it isn't safe to run an electric device in a pool of water.

Would not work for me
This item would not work for me. The machine kept turning off. When I removed the yogurt slurry to refrigerate while I troubleshooted the issue, I noticed the metal bowl left marks in the yogurt maker. Poor quality. Do not recommend. I returned mine.

Accurate Time and Temp
Works well, but the control panel, (which is a thin flexible sticker), keeps coming off the device on one side. I also wish that the stainless container held a bit more volume; like perhaps 1.5 quarts. As it is, by the time that I add the starter and the probiotic, there is not enough room to add a full quart of milk and get the lid on. Overall though, I have been able to produce good batches of yogurt.
