The Mini Power Tool Handbook

This is a well-photographed, but very basic book. The author makes sure that the new owner knows exactly how to use his/her mini power tool, complete with directions concerning safety and some maintenance. Taylor delves into many different sections, but only shallowly. To make a book that covered each section in depth would require another four hundred pages, with photos.Some things depended upon prior knowledge, such as the router section, but that's fine. They probably all had the same need, but since I knew most of the subjects covered already, I felt like I was reviewing more than learning. Still, reviews are important, especially with power tools.Just because a tool is small doesn't change the fact that you need to know safety practices.Overall, a good, basic book.

This book is well worth the money if you want to learn about even one of the power tools it covers. Answered all my questions, I knew next to nothing about my new dremel until I got this book.

This book hit it right on the nail for me in explaining and describing small tools and how to use them like the Dremel Rotary tool. Basically when you are like me with not a lot of knowledge of tools of any description this is the book to get. So if that fits you, buy it.

My daughter used this book to make a carving with her Drendel power tool and router stand. She said it was fairly easy to understand and the directions were very explicit and easy to follow.

Basic, decent photos, good if you need instruction just to get started using a dremel. I found it helpful, was worth the price.

It's not a handbook - it's just a book showing off a lot of expensive equipment. No index reference, separated topics, etc. OK but not great Seller gets 5 stars - book get maybe 3.5

very helpful just what i was looking for

This is a brilliant book if you are new to the world of mini drilling as I myself am. Having just bought myself a mini drill I found I had no idea what was what in the mini drilling world. This book gives you a thorough run through on what does what job and gives you plenty of advice on how to hold the device and safety tips etc. It is an excellent introduction and a must for any hobbyist using these types of tools. I searched high and low for such a book and this was only one of the very few I found. Unfortunately my copy was damaged despite it being well packaged but arrived fairly quickly though. The suppliers were very generous and gave me a part refund as the book was not quite in the condition as it was described which they said was just a one off that slipped through the net. I thought this was great customer service and wouldn't hesitate to use this supplier again.
