1 ring pays for it all
I personally figured out the STD and PRO modes with discrepancy on day 1. Took a few more days to hone in my preferences.Found about $18 in change throughout my yard and some random construction debris.

One headset capable
This is a must use Garrett headset. No decent options. Way too hot in Florida for a full earpad with Florida summers. Guess I should have gone with Minelab.

Great detector
Mine came with the hard grip instead of the cheap foam one, this tells me it's the newest model. Great buy!

This my first metal detector it's AT PRO i got it about a month ago. i used it 12 times. some inland and on small beaches. i have found a lot of coins. sit so easy to use and site up at each site!! the more i use it the more stiff i find. the battery life is great still have the same battery . Garrett pointer is a must for fast target recovery. Watch the Garrett videos will help with how to use it and set it up. I look at a LOTS! of the metal detector before i pick the AT PRO & i love it. This has become my new Hobby! it is so cool when you find your first coin & you are hooked.

best for gold rings
hello this is Ringhunter100 This machine is easy to use (in pro-mode) has several setting that are easy to use but I run it in all metal mode with out discrimination. I am on my 3rd Garrett AT-Pro I had found 44 Gold rings before the brain fried! Garrett then sent me a new machine super fast and I had this unit for 5+ years of very heavy use with a total of 77 Gold Rings before I was forced to retire it now on 02/2019 I had after considering another brand and make decided to by my third Garrett AT-Pro and now I have 12 Gold rings so far for this year . sincerely RH100

Garrett AT Pro with Pro Performance DD Submersible Coil Metal Detector
I purchased the Garrett AT Pro with Pro Performance DD Submersible Coil Metal Detector as a Christmas for my husband. The item was exactly as stated in the ad. It came nicely boxed and didn't take anytime to assemble the few components. He was able to be up and running in less then 5 minutes. He can't wait to get out and start seeing what he can unearth!
