Blue Wave 8-ft Single Water Tube for Winter Pool Cover - 5 Pack

So far they are holding the water.

The items so far are working good, however one of the items came defected.

Hold down my pool cover. First order 2 tubes leaked. Second order 2 more tubes leaked.

Of the eight I bought 2 had seem leaks when i filled them

I purchased a 5 pack of these tubes alongside a mesh leaf cover to keep the leaves out of my pool during the changing seasons. The water tubes arrived quickly, were packaged nicely, and appeared to be of good quality. Unfortunately, immediately after setting the bags in place and filling with water, 2 of the 5 bags displayed slow leaks in the corners and now require refill every 1-2 days and leave my concrete wet at all times due to the constant leak. Upon further inspection, it's clear that the "melted" seam at the corners is not very robust. It'd be a miracle if these held up over more than a couple of freeze/thaw cycles, even if only filled at 50% to allow for expansion.I reached out to Blue Wave over a week ago letting them know of the issue; no response. I understand that response times are slower than normal given covid and peak season for pool closings, but I'd expect some response after 6 business days. Giving this 2 stars considering 3 of the 5 bags have held up fine, but generally not impressed with the 60% quality rate on the 5 pack.

I would give 5 stars except two of the 10 bags I purchased leaked. Tried to return them but Amazon said because the reason for returning was a defect, I should contact Blue Wave. Blue wave said because they were shipped by Amazon they wouldn't send a replacement for the defective bags. So I ended up with 20 per cent fewer bags than I paid for.

I have purchased these on 3 different times- and this last set- there was 2 of them where the seam was split as soon as I went to fill them.Not sure if company will replace them but just FYI!

Really poor quality and too pricey for what is essentially a plastic bag. I read the reviews suggesting poor quality but wrongly I still bought. Two of the bags have empties in two weeks even ahead of the big freeze. Buy another brand. This is a rip off and poor quality. Amazon should have more responsibility to vet whether items are fit for purpose these are not. I will also escalate why Amazon allows items like this to be sold on what is assumed to be a reputable purchasing site. All in all disappointing and I should have relied on the existing poor feedback.

Terrible quality. Didn’t even make it through the season! (Lasted less than a month!!!) Unfortunately I have just passed the return date, and I’m very upset because I had purchased two packs of these - what a waste of money. Now I’m stuck with these useless things... unless I can think of a new use for them, as they can’t hold water...

The picture indicates one hole to add water when we got them each had two hole and two channels please correct the picture as it does make a difference when you are filling them other than that great product opening is large enough to fit the end of the hose for filling Seam strong enough to last through the winter

These bags are cheap cheap cheap. Just filled them with water 4 days ago and one is leaking already. I bought early so would have them now I can’t return. As return date has passed.

I bought these thinking I could use them to hold down tarps that we draped on our pontoon boat.They’re too big and too heavy once filled with water.So,they were not suitable for my purpose.
