made a few modifications to the charcoal basket with a drill and blocked some of the holes with corksi was able to cook for 10hrs without the water pan the water pan used more fuel so im going to stop using it

Great smoked bbq 🍖 I suggested watching a few vids on tips on how to use the drum b4 use I did and had a great over night smoked pulled pork and a brisket 😋

I haven't cooked on this yet. As I write I am heating it up to do my first attempt having test heated it a few times to bed it in and test duration's/temps etc. First off it's a bit fiddly to assemble but not the worst. Sadly there were a few bent pieces which have cracked the powder coat off. The lid is bent so much it rocks on the drum. The grills and water bowl seem ok. They're both a bit fiddly to insert without catching on the hooks that hold them up. But overall I'm pleased with it.First off the temp wouldn't get over 200F no matter what I tried. So following a suggestion here from another review I drilled extra holes in the coal bowl to get better air flow. It leaked smoke all round each join so I have sealed these with heat proof tape and then bent the lid straight and ran a bead of tape round that too. It's now heating and smoking from the vent controls on the top only.I'll see how the cook goes and update this review.

High quality, easy to use. Accurate temperature gauge. Hits and sustains reliable temperatures, for hours, without the needs for additional fuel. Very good value.
