as you can see in video i install on 1 floor level on the wall aside of my garage that sensor working well. my house toward to West . so sunset 4 hrs is enough for power that is surprised me. I do have other brand that has to 8 hr under sun which is impossible in hallway. there came 2 pack of box. I have another one install backyard. ok for me to walk through dark. There is a light sensor built in so the lights won't activate in daylight, they will start to activate just as it starts to turn to dusk. The solar motion sensor lights outdoor have 3 modes, all changeable via a switch on the rear of the unitMode 1: The motion sensor light automatically lights up with 100% brightness in dark environment when movement is detected, and automatically turns off if there is no movement detected for 30 seconds.Mode 2: Automatically lights up with 30% brightness in the dark until you switch it off (Or until daylight comes).Mode 3: In this mode, the lamp automatically lights up with 100% brightness in a dark environment when movement is detected. After 30 seconds without movement, the light keeps shinning but with lower brightness(3% brightness).I've only used mine in Mode 3 and mainly use them in my back garden to allow me to put my bicycle away at night without treading on slugs and snails etc. So far they have never failed to work, which means they are receiving enough solar energy to keep them charged (which after trying other types that failed was my main point of concern). I've read other reviews for this type of light that mention that they let in water, because of this I've been keeping an eye on them and so far even though they've been thoroughly soaked, none of them are showing any signs whatsoever of water ingress. They are easy to check as they only require one small screw to mount them.

I was looking for solar light to save my utility bill and finally bought this one.I don't have Prime, but the light arrive in 2 days with free shipping. Amazingly fast!This light also included motion light. I use 3rd mode and put one in my front door and one in the back door. They are easy to install and they included the screw in the box.The light will automatic light up at night with lower brightness and will also light up with brighter light when movement is detected. I have use it for 3 nights and happy with this purchase. I am thinking to buy another set to put in front of my garage door.

They are very bright at night. I can see things clearly. Love anything solar so can lower my electricity bill.

I bought the solar motion sensor lights of other brand before. I do like these ones this time. These are smaller than you'd imagine but amazingly powerful and good value solar lights. They are easy to install with clear instruction for installation and settings (three different functions. ) They give a very bright directed illumination and are great dark corners where where's sun to racharge them. Definitely recommend.

I thought I was getting the same lights I had ordered before, but I guess these are what the mfg is now making as a replacement. These lights are bright but they don't cast the light out very far. I have them to keep a look out for predators trying to get to my chickens and to track my dogs when they are out at night. The first set of lights I bought threw the light far enough that I could clearly see my very small dogs. These don't even come unless the dogs are just a couple of feet away and I can't see the dogs within seconds of them tripping the light because they have already moved out of range of the light. They would probably make good pathway lights. But, as far as being a wall mounted light, unless you are planning on standing right underneath them, they are not bright enough for much of anything else.

Even better than I expected! I wanted some light for the backyard when using my smoker, the barbecue, grabbing some lettuce from the garden at dinnertime. In the past I've had mini lights going around the fence but they don't provide much light. Initially I was going to put all four along the back of my house but then seeing how much light they put out I realized I could put one on the back of the house, one of the fence to the left, one at the middle of the back of the fence and one on the fence to the right. As my dog walks around the yard they come on. It's also going to plenty of light for when I'm putting things on or off the grill or using my smoker which I plug in just behind the house.These were super bright right out of the box - no sun needed! All you have to do is use the little pin provided to click each one on. To install them it's just one screw (provided) at the top. They look great and work great AND don't cost anything to run since they're solar - perfect!
