Cordless Phone with Advanced Call Block, Link2Cell Bluetooth, One-Ring Scam Alert, and 2-Way Recording with Answering Machine, 3 Handsets - KX-TGF973B (Black with Silver Trim)

Before I got this phone system I was getting 20+ calls a day from those pesky telemarketers. Usually from an auto dialer. (They should all be in prison) From auto care, funeral insurance, Medicare, you know the drill. This phone has the whitelist capability, which my phone service does not have. It took me about 3 hours to input my friends, family, and others (you can transfer them from your cell phone to save time) that might call me, but the last two days I have only one call and that was legit call. If a real person calls and needs to talk to me (if not on my whitelist) they have the option to bypass and get thru. If this person is a telemarketer and I can still block them. I am on the government do not call list, but that is worthless. I was ready to cancel my service, but this phone is working as advertised. Sound quality is good as I have hearing aids. It has only been two days, but silence is golden.

Needed an updated cordless phone system with 2 extensions that could handle the ton of scam calls we get. 38 calls a day not unusual, even though we screened and haven't picked up for 2 years. Car warranty anyone? I don't even own that car anymore. I LOVE the one ring hangup, auto check of its large inventory of scam call numbers, screen calling where automated robo calls are rejected, and the ease of blocking a number that may get thru. Those don't ring thru. We can now answer our phone and know it's likely a real person who actually needs to reach us. It's been blissfully quiet. YAY! The Cons: With the sound turned all the way up, it's still slightly softer to hear someone speaking. Getting to the messages and missed calls - noted on the base but not as easy to get to as on our old phone - and there's no blinking light to alert us. Like all computers nowadays, things get complicated and this phone is no different. Many, many features - but so much is going on, the simple stuff that should be easy to get to is no longer simple. Just a few thoughts but we are trainable (I hope) and this phone has worked wonders to remove the constant ringing of scam/robo calls.

I just installed this phone and I love it as it is similar to the Panasonic model #KX-TG7641. The model #KX-TG7641 stopped working after many years of good service. Fortunately, the parts are similar so I just used the old lines and it took me about 15 minutes to make all of my connections....to the phone line and the power line. I just had to set the date and time and was ready to go! Also fortunately for me, the wall mount used the same holes and the "old" one so I was able to mount it on the wall easily. I still need to make some adjustments on this phone as it is more technically advanced compared to my "old"phone.

We replaced our 16 yr. old phone set. The phone itself and its features are great. The only reason I didn’t score it a five star is because the set up instructions were really difficult to understand. I strongly suspect the instruction author is not an American. The clarity didn’t come through.

Just received this product. Looks good in person as it did on the screen. Only beef so far is that while it comes with a "Basic Operating Instructions" booklet of about 31 pages the "Operating Instructions" guide mentioned on the first page of the BOI while available on Panasonic's web site CANNOT be printed, only viewed! Even if you copy it to your pc the print block stays on. It is about 116 pages long. PS: Will post an update when I actually get it up and running. Update: I do like the look and feel of the handsets and the base. Sound quality is good. The handsets will easily sit upright, and I found that their batteries will last approx. 8 days on battery if not used. So far have not tried the Intercom or link to Cell features.
