I don't know what Devney Perry put it in because it was pure magic! I could not put it down, I read it in a day. No shame! I loved this book. This book is heartbreaking, emotional, and it’s filled with so much suspense and twist that it’s not predictable. But, Foster and Tally’s chemistry is 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄! 🥵🔥Seven years ago, Foster broke Talia’s heart when he married her best friend.Talia, is such a badass women! She’s returned home to Quincy, Montana to finish her residency at her hometown hospital. She’s worked hard, but feels because of who she is, and who her family is, she’s not taken seriously. She comes from a large, and very loving family. One of six siblings and she has a twin sister. She chose medicine over a family run business. She’s become a bit of a workaholic since college. Her family noticed a difference in her when she finally came home but she refused to discuss this with anyone, even her twin sister.Foster grew up in a very different home environment. Living in Las Vegas, his parents were more concerned with where they would get money for their next bet (gambling problem). He has been held under the thumb of a man he once trusted. He’s finally come to Quincy to claim what he had given up seven years earlier. Talia. He’s willing to do whatever it takes for another chance with the only woman who has ever held claim to his heart. What he finds when he arrives, is an extremely angry and and hurt woman. A woman who was betrayed by her boyfriend and her college best friend."𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆. This family has been an loving escape for me and I’m ready to go to Eden Ranch in Quincy, Montana.**That sneak peak of Jasper Vale in the epilogue of this book 😱 I absolutely cannot wait to dive in and start reading it!

Second chance set in Quincy, Montana
I think I like second chance romances so much because either the MMC or the FMC get to embrace their mistakes and make up for them.7 years ago, Foster Madden made the biggest mistake of his life and let Talia go. I do think his reasons might not seem so strong, but if my dear ones are being threatened and, in a danger, I probably might push them away too.Talia reminded me a lot of myself. She was insecure and had many doubts about her capabilities and her value as a medical professional. On top of that, she was betrayed by the love of her life and her best friend, so it was understandable why she was so guarded and had those high walls to protect her heart. But the love these two shared was undeniable. From the moment Foster was back, the attraction and the feelings were still there. Did I wish for more groveling? Yes, I wanted Foster to work harder for his redemption, and for Talia not to forgive him so easily. But as said, their love never died, and the heart wants what the heart wants, and in the end, I didn’t mind, I love them together and love their HEA.What I didn’t like a bit was Vivi. She kept screwing up things, and it was like she did it on purpose. She should have put on her big girl pants and stop ruining other people’s lives. I feel like she didn’t deserve so much attention, and I would have preferred for her to stay far away from Montana, preferably in another country hahaha. If you’re a person who holds grudges, then this book is not for you. But if you enjoy second chance romances set in a dreamy small town, then you should definitely read it!

3.5 stars. worth the read but not my favorite in the series.
Talia and Foster.I have mixed feelings about this book, I really wanted to like it more than I did. Now with that said I didn’t hate this book, I did enjoy it and I love the Eden’s, but this wasn’t my favorite. The whole book just kind of felt rushed, I did love that Foster fought for his love. But it was just back to back betrayal almost. Like he’s fighting for the love of his life but having intimate conversations with his ex? I understand Foster had no choice and was blackmailed, and I appreciate that he was never sexual with Vivi, but they still raised a daughter together. He still treats her as his best friend, while she literally commits one of the biggest betrayals to him. I wish we had more of Talia and Fosters love building and less constant drama. The sister getting mad she didn’t know, Foster still being there for his ex and calling her “vivi” it just rubbed me wrong. I know they raised a child together, but it just felt like he wasn’t letting that part go and was just going to continue, I mean he literally tells Talia “she’s my best friend”. Foster had no choice, but Vivi had every choice to fight against her father at some point in my opinion, but she got to date for 2 years while Foster had to wait until her dad died to have a life. I just ugh so many mixed emotions, I do love Fosters character, and I do love him and Talia together, but I just can’t place this book high eithin the Eden’s. Still 3.5 stars and a good read, but it just rubbed me wrong in several areas. I also felt like the suspense was more focused on Vivi than the actual main characters.

Love this series!!
Ms Perry did it again I love this series and I’m going to be sad when it ends!!**Spoilers ahead**In the beginning of this story I was so annoyed with Talia because why would you give this man the time of day after he married your best friend!! And your best friend going along with it mind you she was pregnant. I don’t care if they were both threaten by her dad Foster should have come clean and just told her immediately!! I was so angry for Talia how dare you come to my town by a building and force your way back into my life. All of this could have been prevented!! I understand why he did it but I think both he and Vivienne should have told her what was going on maybe she could have gone along with it or something. But in the end everything worked out I just hated the start for Talia.
