Seriously, it took me longer to unbox it than it did to get it connected. The "ODDIRE GO" app is straightforward, and pairing the drone to my phone's Wi-Fi was seamless. No fiddling with SD cards is a huge plus - everything saves directly to your phone, which is super convenient for quick sharing. Flying this thing is pretty intuitive. As a relative beginner, I really appreciate the one-key takeoff/landing and the stable hover thanks to the optical flow positioning. After a quick calibration (which is just placing it on flat ground and moving the joysticks), it really does just hold its altitude well. I tried out the 3-speeds mode, and while I'm mostly sticking to the slower settings for now, it's clear it can zip around when you want it to. The 3D flip is a fun party trick, though I'm still perfecting my timing on that one! The 1080P HD camera is better than I expected. It's not pro-grade, but for capturing casual shots and videos from a new perspective, it's more than sufficient. I bought this drone because I needed to inspect my roof. First drone. Super easy to get going with the quick start instructions. Connected my phone, flew around my house, got the video and peace of mind that I wanted. Check, money spent was well worth it. Then I read the manual and start playing with range and all that stuff. Shot the drone 100 ft in the air with gusts of wind and voila’, drone blew away out of sight. Big snow storms, then a heat wave, then there is was eager to be found. Pulled the battery which was soaking wet. I let it dry for 4 days, charged the battery and it fired right up. Couldn’t believe it! Big fan of this product. Just be careful in the wind…
