Best pick ever!
Mark Tremonti purchased every pick he could find from sweetwater while he was off tour from Alter Bridge because he didn't like any of the picks companies made. He was using the same picks I was using the dunlop black ice but he wasn't that happy with them. Neither was I but there were better than anything else I could find. AT the end of his test he chose the Jim Dunlop Flow Standard. I bought a pack because who doesn't like Marks playing right? I was astounded at how great these picks are. They have all the control of a Jazz 3 but are not so small you loose them in the shred. They are the perfect size made of the perfect material with crazy raised lettering that produce more grip than anything I've ever tried. Standard picks are slightly to large and Jazz 3 picks are slightly too small. This is the happy medium between the 2. BEST PICKS EVER!

Good pick, try it out!
Love this material, great guitar picks for electric or acoustic, I just wish they would offer one in a slightly thinner iteration. Maybe a .69? Maybe I am just over picky but I find myself wishing for something between this and the ultex .60

The FLOW shape combined with ULTEX is a triumph!
These picks are excellent! I had previously switched from the standard TORTEX shape to the FLEX Jazz III and loved the faster picking action and accuracy but missed the fuller grip I felt I had with the standard pick shape. The FLOW shape offers me the best of both worlds shape wise (standard grip area, Jazz III like tip) and gives me a snappier pick action with the ULTEX material than I’d previously had with the standard TORTEX or the FLEX Jazz III materials. The mold accuracy for the FLOW ULTEX seems to be more precise allowing for micro raised pyramid like knobs circled around the center giving a great grippy feel along with the greater grip area the FLOW shape offers. I’d highly recommend these picks in any desired thickness they are offered in. They cost a little more than most of Jim Dunlop’s offerings but it’s well worth the increased cost per pick.

Good Picks
I typically use 1.0 MM, Max-Grip nylon standard but wanted to try these out. I tried three different sizes… the .73, .88 & 1.0. The .73 was a bit too flexible. The 1.0 is a bit too rigid. The .88 (the brown pick) is just right as far as the feel and pick attack are concerned. With that said, they’re a bit smaller but the overall feel, texture, tip & grip are good. Just keep in mind that picks are subjective to the user.

My new favorite guitar pick.
I have been playing guitar for over thirty years, but have never been able to find a pick that I really liked. Not any more im very happy to report. These picks are in my opinion the perfect balance between performance and feel while not getting in the way. The Dunlap Gator grip is what I have been using for many years, and they are good picks, but these are my new go to. The Flo picks are just a little bit smaller than a traditional pick, and this is what I think makes a huge difference. They are not as small as a Jazz pick, but right between a regular size and a Jazz pick. Try them and you may just be surprised at just how comfortable and versatile these picks really are.

Material's a little flexible - go heavier gauge
I like the shape but the material is a bit softer than expected so they are more flexible than I wanted. I like the grippy texture but would recommend going a gauge heavier than normal. I usually use a 0.73 but found myself wishing I had gone with the 1.0mm in this material.

Great low profile guitar pick!
My new favorite pick! Super grippy with a slightly lower profile than my standard picks which I love! Very little pick noise on the strings.

Decided to test these after using Ultex for years, and I'm glad I did. I love the sound and feel of the amber Ultex picks, but I find they tend to slip out of my fingers so I do some modifications to add grip. No big dea to do thisl, but these Flow picks already have a well thought out grip that is sort of countersunk, so the pick doesn't feel too thick. Also sharper than regular Ultex, which I like because I always sharpen my pick a bit with a fine-toothed file. I find the .73 to be thin enough for a great acoustic tone and to have a very slight flex, but heavy enough to stand up to aggressive playing on electric. The only thing I do to the Flow picks is to add just a very slight rough edge to the point, as I like a bright attack, especially on acoustic. So five seconds with a high grit sandpaper and they are perfect!

Perfekt!

Don't get me wrong you can play lead with these picks just fine. I prefer a slightly stiffer pick for technical leads. In fact. the 0.88 Flow's will do the trick. In my event/function band there are times where, for most of the part, I'm strumming chords. The .73's have a little bit of flex in them. Not too, too much though. If there is a picking passage or a lead break, these picks work excellent. I have both .73's & .88's at my disposal. The size seems to be perfect for my right hand. The grip is spectacular. For live playing it is the only pick I use. Highly, highly recommended.
