i NEVER write reviews...
but I will for this! I'm an amateur Jeeper in Colorado. I've been wheeling the rocky mountains for a few years now, so I know what to expect from my rig and how to trouble shoot most problems. I'm not the worlds most knowledgeable mechanic, but I am a civil engineer and can figure most things out fairly well. I've been dealing with death wobble for months on a 2015 freedom edition. I have a 4 inch lift with 37 inch tires. Only when driving on the road and on a slight turn to the right or left do I experience death wobble. I've gone over everything I'm suppose to with the tie rod, drag link, bearings, sway bar, control arms, track bar, pitman arm...all of it. I've always steered clear of steering stabilizers as most of my jeep buddies have always told me that they're a gimmick. Well, I finally decided to give it a try and went with these bad boys for the reviews and price and let me tell you...the death wobble is gone! I was skeptical but its gone. I've tried to recreate death wobble by hitting every crack and pot hole (within reason) I could and it completely corrects itself with the stabilizers. As much as I want it to happen and prove everyone right about steering stabilizers, it wont and I cant. My steering is the most firm its ever been and just feels solid now. The install was fairly easy, the instructions have dark black and white pictures so it can be difficult to see what the words are trying to portray at times but all in all wasn't too bad. I don't know what else to say other than I'm a believer now. Shout out to Rough Country for making a reliable and cost effective product!

Cleared up my "death wobble" and looks great!
Love this setup for my Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon. Bought the Jeep used, and it had a decent lift in it (Fox), but the steering stabilizer bracket was worn out and was not offering any stability to front end. Researched options, and I really was not happy with the design of the Fox products, so I opted for this one. It was easy to install, and looks great. Right away this took care of the dreaded "death wobble" that my Jeep was experiencing on the highway. I know that there are other things in a Jeep's steering and suspension that can cause the wobble, and it is not always the steering stabilizer, but in my case it was and this unit cleared it up immediately. For the money this was a great purchase.

Stabilizer
Missing a bracket, used the ones that came in my jeep. Other than a missing bracket, everything fit together nicely.

World of difference
Where do I begin. I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler 2 door that has had multiple upgrades to the suspension and other offroad components. Due to the size of the tires and the 3 inch lift, the Jeep was hard to control on the highway at speeds above 55mph. In short, it wandered all over the road. Due to a suggestion from a friend, I added this product and it has made a world of difference. We did have some issues with getting the product to fit due to the extreme customization that our jeep has had, but in the long run we got them to fit and operate as they should. The shock quality is far superior and larger in size than the single shock stock steering stabilizer. The product looks good and adds to its "off road' look. For the money that this product costs you can not go wrong. What was once a white knuckle drive on the interstate, is now far more smooth and enjoyable to drive at highway speeds.

Excellent product
Fixed the wondering steering. Bump and still straight line. Rugged Ridge makes good stuff. Installed in 30 minutes with only a small adjustment required after test drive.

Well worth the money
Definitely improved my steering. 3 inch lift 35 x 12.5 all terrain 2007 jku, previously felt like driving a boat, constantly making small steering corrections sub 65 mph. Highway speeds it always felt straight. Previous set up was a single rancho stabilizer. Now significant improvement barely noticeable, for the price well worth it, hope they last.Took about 90 minutes in my driveway 30 of that was self inflicted by thinking I knew what I was doing, rushing. I measured for passenger side bracket 16.5 inches bolt center to center. didn't really say in the directions. The other two brackets abutted other things so no measurement. The little cosmetic RC plate added a level of contorting to get it on, it's pretty impossible to see but it's a cleaner look, if your ever way up under there.
