Good product and good price

Wow! The relief I've already received from this machine is noticeable! I could barely walk before using this without lots of knee pain. I am slowly getting my mobility back and find I can stand in one place....like working at the kitchen counter....longer than I could before when I had to sit down after a few seconds. I've had it about a month, placed it under my desk and use it most days for around a half hour as I work. I set a timer because I don't even notice the back and forth movement of my feet as I am working online. I don't have sidewalks where I can walk outside. And I wouldn't want to in the winter snow anyway since I am a senior. Under my desk I can "walk" year round and receive slow and steady improvement. I want to work up to an hour a day, but am already happy with my improvement so far. There is nothing to put together on this machine. You just unbox it, plug it in, put your feet on the pads...shoes or not...and turn it on. This is my kind of exercise! :)

for a elderly person who seat all day its perfect there is only number one extremally slow and number two, she used the number two its not fast at all and fall asleep with it. Does it work we do not know we want to attach a watch to see how many steps she does and with time to see if her legs and blood circulation got better. however being behind a computer for hours I was thinking it could be good for me who is much younger. but for someone who is looking to really exercise this machine is not good and the price is to high. we got the cubbi machine but the grandma used it for 5 minutes and was to tired to do it, her legs are very swollen, she has a little bit of diabetic and take blood pression medicine so so far this machine is good.

If you can walk, just walk.But if you have SEVERE mobility problems, this can help to improve your circulation, stability, etc.To be clear, it isn't going to magically turn you into a marathon runner, it is the difference between doing absolutely nothing and doing at least a little something.But even a little something is better than nothing. We gave this to my 84 year old mother who has basically become completely sedentary, and she used it in the evenings. After a couple months, it has improved her walking speed and stability, although she is still using a walker and remains quite infirm.So don't expect miracles, and it is really only going to benefit people who are on the verge of becoming completely bedridden, or have had their muscles almost completely atrophy after a long period of illness or injury. But if your mobility is almost at zero, this can be of benefit to you.

Good motion therapy for the elderly

Bought for my 87 yr old Mother. She loves and it certainly aids with her mobility

It is easy to use. Unfortunately, now, have to start it on slow, no feet; after it finally starts, have to let it run for a minute or 2, then move to full speed for another minute or so. Then, put feet on it. Most of the time, it'll work, but occasionally have go thru the above start-up steps again because it won't run with feet. The box does NOT have a customer service number. Don't remember how long we had it when this started - maybe a year.

I purchased this for leg movement as my stationary bicycle is in storage during a home renovation. I really like it, and it is helpful, especially after I went *splat* on the concrete. The gentle movement is helping to decrease the pain from the fall. HOWEVER, the device could use an on/off switch that doesn't require bending over to turn it on. It could also use a handle. I store mine under my bed and do exercises morning and evening -- and it would be much easier to pull out from under the bed with a handle. A corded remote would let me turn it on or off after I get settled on the bed. Finally, the platform needs to be wider. As I am plus-sized, I have to put my feet half off each pedal in order not to have to have my legs splayed. Despite these limitations, I consider this a worthwhile purchase. It definitely appears to help the leg swelling resulting from my cancer surgery, and it is helping strengthen my joints after the fall. I would definitely recommend it.Two months later: I still like it very much. However, it have developed a very loud grinding noise. I have a call in to their customer service. We will see. I expect a device costing over $150 to last longer than 2 months. The noise is so loud I cannot hear my French lesson. This machine is supposed to have a 12 month warranty on it.Update: I am informed by the manufacturer that the item must be returned to the Amazon seller. Amazon's automated assistant routed me in circles for half an hour before I was allowed to send a message to the seller. Amazon's return window is only a month, so I could not do an automated return. I am not impressed with either this seller or Amazon at this point. We will see what transpires. At this point, I can recommend neither the seller nor the product.
