Great replacement for my camelbak. I like that the hose part unscrews from the bag plus the bag itself has the same fitments as the bag it's replacing so it sits in the main bag perfectly.There is always going to be some flavour from the hydration pack but it was no more than the original and hasn't put me off using it, you get used to it and a bladder is a way more convenient way if carrying that amount of water on long days out on the bike.The bite valve is covered and has a push shut, pull open mechanism which is easy to use on the go although I do find you suck in alot of air which makes you think you've drunk lots and can give the illusion of having an emptier bladder than you actually have.All in all for the price and functionality it's a great bit of kit and yes there are a few niggles but I think it's still worth 5 stars as it works just as well as the higher priced branded product.

I've just received this bag nextday with prime and have to say for the price I'm impressed by the build quality. It very well made, especially the screw lid/cap, which is a good size for filling and will allow for efficient draining/drying and cleaning. The drinking system requires a pop out before it will release water and instructions would be a useful addition, but I'd seen reviews, so knew this was the case. I like the cover for the mouthpiece, especially for MTB or kayaking use, it's nice to have the mouthpiece protected from mud/dirty water.I filled it 100% full and squeezed it gently - zero leaks anywhere or seepeage from the mouthpiece, after a few hours left full it had a very slight plastic tang/taste, but I would expect that on first use and it was perfectly drinkable, I expect that will fade/disappear with more use.It does exactly what I want and especially for the price I couldn't ask for more, very happy.

Easy to fill and use. Bladder is tough and durable. Has water gage from 0 to 3L. Good value for the price.
