Closest You’ll Get to Muji Quality
I’ve been wearing tabi socks for years, and since MUJI USA discontinued theirs, it’s been tough finding a decent replacement. The UBUMO Unisex Tabi Socks 4-pack has been the best option I’ve tried so far. The fit is comfortable, the separation is cut just right for sandals or indoor wear, and the stretch holds up well even after multiple washes. The only gripe is that the material feels a bit thin; I wish it were just a tad bit thicker for more long-term durability. That said, they’re still better than other makers I’ve tested, both in terms of comfort and design and breathability. If you’ve been searching for a reliable everyday tabi sock, these are absolutely worth picking up. I prefer the MUJI version, but this is a very close runner-up and alternative for those outside Japan.

I tested 3 brands, these won
There's bunch of different sellers on amazon, I decided to buy 3 different ones and compare them. This brand won, hands down. V-Toe Socks was a close second. The ones sold by Samurai market came in last with a wide gap from second. If you just want comfortable every day socks that also have the neat weeb toe thing, just get these ones. They're the highest quality socks that weren't excessively expensive...for socks, anyway. Even if you didn't grow up wanting to be a ninja they're pretty comfy. I'm replacing all of my socks with these ones. These socks are thin, but not so thin that it feels cheap. They may not be very warm but they are very comfortable. The elasticity of the sock is firm without being too tight and leaving weird marks on your calf. There's no sagging, it only really moves if your pant leg pushes it down your ankle or something. Even then it doesn't bunch up or drop even further. This pair has something the other 2 brands didn't - The sock appears to be stitched together from 2 different pieces. The bottom of the toe portion is sewn onto the rest of the sock. It looks like it's a slightly thicker material, which is good for such an oddly shaped area. (pictured) Even here, the seams are only visible if you really bother to look. The seams on the sock are almost invisible on the outside and barely noticeable inside the sock. It comes up about 2 inches over my ankle.

Better than I expected
I have a problem with one size fits all socks. I go out of my way to purchase socks that are sold in sizes. My foot is 11 1/2 4X width. I buy shoes that are one size too big and with a rather small selection, 4x or better width. This causes my foot to have plenty of room, toes are not tightly squished from a too narrow or too short shoe.I have large bunions, crossover big toes and some hammer toes too.Tried on these socks and they fit pretty good. They have a heel so there is both a left and a right sock.My big toes fit right into the slot and they are overall fairly comfortable. The top of the sock sits about 4 inches above my ankle bone. They're "stretchy" but don't feel uncomfortably tight. They're a little thin compared to some, but more substantial than most, cheap, flimsy, thin and too small tabi (ninja) socks available for sale.Bottom line is five stars is limited to socks that come in sizes and are quality made with warm and comfortable fabric. These socks work OK for my purpose that is to be able to wear with flip flops or sandals that are made with a toe separator strap. This makes it possible to wear comfortable Sandals to the Supermarket with split socks that cover up my gnarly feet. Nothing to call attention to them.My shoes are OK and work for me, but, I still have a problem with my Big toes rubbing against the second toe. With the sandals I've incorporated a second, small 1/2 inch velcro strap that is cinched tight to pull my big toes outward creating a 1/4 inch gap; toe is now pointed straight and not crooked.Wearing these sandals full time, even out doors in winter, as I'm only outside walking from my car to the store, serves to correct for my Bunions without having surgery. I'm fortunate in that throughout this entire process there is no pain in my foot or toes, even with the considerable pressure applied to yank and hold my Big Toes out away from the rest. The key to all this is to be able to wear split-toe socks, without which none of this would be possible. I would rather have larger, thicker socks, but these are not really a compromise that causes me any noticeable discomfort. Relative to a lot of other socks of this type, for me, they do what I need them to do.

Love these socks!
My FAVORITE socks! In cool weather I wear them with my flip flops at home. They hold up well. Been washed many times. I wash & dry them in a lingerie bag. I have tried other similar tabi socks & these are THE BEST. Though they are “men’s” socks, I am a woman & found them to be a great fit.

Great for working on the mat
Very comfortable. I have tried several other tabi-socks and these are the best in my opinion. The fabric is a little heavier than others I tried so they last a little longer. The toe split is cut a little deeper than other witch makes the fit more comfortable. The others, with a shorter cut, makes me feel like I have webbed feet. The sock also extends above the ankle where some of the others barely cover the ankle. I do Judo, Aikido, and JuJutsu. I prefer to wear socks on the mat because I have very rough feet and the socks helps slide on the mats. These are really quite good.

good socks.
no show tabi socks. not too big for women's 8. you will have to find the matching pair (left and right) after doing laundry. unless you don't mind wearing one sock inside out i guess.

Form fitting, comfortable, and true to size!
100% cotton as advertised! Lightweight socks that easily double as dress sock and loungeware. They are soft and snug and work extremely well as a light-duty layer that keeps temps fairly consistent without letting the feet overheat. After a few washes the colors have kept up well and shrinking is present, but minor (and expected) for cotton. Would recommend amd plan to buy more if these age well!
