Q: What size pot would this tree require when it's fully grown?

Move it up incrementally, starting with a container about 18 inches, than in a few years, about a 22 inch pot, few more years about a 26 inch pot, etc...go as far as you can, but very important to start small and jump up incrementally. Hard to water right if you put it in too large a container too quickly. As far as how big a container when fully grown? Hard to say. Use a pot as large as you can accommodate logistically and go from there.

Q: are the avocade trees grafted?

Yes, grafted trees, a variety only growing to around 8 feet tall if never clipped, but can easily be clipped to around 6 feet or so if need be, even a tad shorter.

Q: I live in sedona az where the summer temperatures are in the 90s, occaisionally over 100. will the tree survive and produce at those temperatures?

I purchased the dwarf avocado tree for my brother, who lives in Colorado. He planted his tree in a large pot with wheels, so he can roll it in during the winter. It's doing well. So, perhaps the same method could be applied with the extreme heat.

Q: I bought this tree in 2013 and groth has been somewhat slow but is starting to grow now but have not had any avacado grow on it? is my tree a dud?

I cannot tell you since my tree was never delivered from this seller. If your tree looks like it has been grafted, then you should have seen blooms in 2-3 years. If not it could be up to 18 years to never. First year you would pick blooms off. Future blooms should be protected from strong winds. After 5 years it may be time to learn how to graft avocados. Sorry.
