Question 1

What is the difference between bimmercode and bimmerlink?

Accepted Answer

The main purpose is different:
Bimmercode focuses on unlocking hidden functions, and Bimmerlink focuses on diagnostic functions.
The vehicle coverage is different:
BimmerLink supports all BMWs and Minis built in 2008 or later.
BimmerCode supports nearly all BMWs and Minis manufactured from 2008 onwards and the 2019 Toyota Supra.

Question 2

Will this work with the inatronic drive analyzer app?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, I don't think it's possible. You will most likely need to purchase their OBD device to use it. This is because, as we understand, before starting the "M Performance Drive Analyser", you will need to enter an "OBD Stick Serial Number" in the app's settings. And this serial number is printed on their OBD device.
So the answer is no.
But the reality is not depressing. Because there are still many free OBD apps on the market, for example, DashCommand, which transforms your Android device into a customizable display and monitoring system. The rest is left for you to explore. Vgate BM Plus works on iOS, Android and Windows. I believe you can find many useful and free tools

Yes, but you need to use BimerLink software.
At the same time, before purchasing, we strongly recommend that you check the contents of the Bimmerlink website.
