Didn't work for me.
Four stars because being a Sennheiser device I assume it will be well made and work well within the intended remit. I bought it with the specific intention of Bluetooth streaming audio from my device to my hearing aids, but it didn't work because there are very specific digital protocols involved, plus the ageing Bluetooth in my device wasn't up to it. Returned for refund.

unexpected functionality
I bought this as an experiment for my samsung TV, I'm happy to say that it was a success. The TV (S95b) usually only utilises the SBC codec over bluetooth unless you are using another product in the samsung ecosystem. With this dongle in one of the TV's USB ports, the better quality aptX adaptive codec can be used. This solves a lot of connectivity issues with my various games consoles and my Sennheiser momentum 4 headphones.
