Got this for less than $30. Works as it should and much more comfortable than the equivalent McOplus L-Plate grip. The bottom part where the pinkie rests is not protruding but curled in to form a seamless extension of the camera grip. In addition, it is much much cheaper than any other similar grip out there.I like this even more than Meike MK-X1EM. The X1EM does not allow direct access to the battery. One would have to remove the X1EM first before the battery can be changed. This takes too long and could cause missed shots.This Grip is also much cheaper than either RRS or the Smallrig and it serves the exact same purpose. It is also extremely sturdy. Highly recommended.

Bought this after watching a review about the A7III grip from "Really Right Stuff" - this is definitely a knock-off, but it's a great one at that. The RRS brand is just to to to too expensive for what you're getting. This FOTOMIX is definitely a great alternative compared to the RRS plate. And you essentially get the same product, minus a hex screw that conveniently sits inside the handle.To be honest, I feel like SONY could have added an extra 4 or 5 mm to the grip. I don't have large gorilla hands - in fact I have small hands - and my hands are still too large for the OEM grip. With this added L-Plate Bracket - - it adds the perfect amount of extra length for your pinky to rest on the camera. And as an added bonus it adds some very important heft to the camera, making it not feel so much as a toy.I 100% recommend this for ALL SONY A7III and SONY A7RIII users!

Great bracket for a7r3. Can’t get anything better for the price. Fits the camera really good, however it is not perfect and hence the reason to take off one star. The arca fit on the horizontal plate is a bit looser compared to the fit on the vertical one although the camera won’t fall off the ball head unless you pull it real hard. Also the battery door fits but one side seems to be higher than the other side. With this price point I don’t think the fit can be 100%, but I would say 97% good. Can’t find anything better unless you spend 200 for the RRS. V

While the price is great, the product is really poor and the description misleading. You have to migrate the battery door to the l-bracket to get the battery out. The seal between the battery door and bracket in the new location is virtually non existent and you can see through the gaps. Initiated a return immediately. The material quality seems poor as well; the screw quality is low and will be stripping if you consistently mount and unmount the bracket. The provided Allen wrench is also worthless, but that wasnt a big deal

The price was right but there is one flaw with this bracket. I removed the battery door from my a9 and put it on the bracket with no problem. However, the bracket keeps the battery from coming out and it won't eject unless I remove the bracket completely. I'm using the original Sony battery, not a knock off, so the battery is not the problem. However, considering it was $110 less than a brand I've always used on all of my Nikons, carrying an Allen wrench in my bag is a small inconvenience compared to the savings.

This is a high quality fit for the A7R3. I initially thought it did not allow access to the battery door, but later realized I was using it wrong. You have to remove the battery door from the camera and then attach it to the L-bracket. Recommended.

Got this for my Sony A7 III. Fits really well, the battery door installs without issue. It's quite comparable to the much more expensive Really Right Stuff unit. There are two things that would make it better in my opinion: a place to keep a hex key and a connection point for a strap. I prefer sling-type straps and prefer to connect them to the bottom of the camera via the L bracket. Otherwise, it's an excellent choice.

Adds the perfect amount of grip to my A7iii. Also adds the extra security of protecting the bottom and one side. Only improvement I would suggest is to add a little piece of grippy tape near the grip.
