This coat is a superb buy and she could not have been happier, and I say that with the greatest of enthusiasm.
I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife who received this as a gift...from me. We've had really bad experiences buying clothes online and then my wife is super, super picky on top of it. So this was a major gamble as a Christmas present surprise. We got it for $99 and had I been shopping for his in a store, I would have gladly paid $200. It feels like it's worth $400. This is one fancy coat. This coat is a superb buy and she could not have been happier, and I say that with the greatest of enthusiasm. Size is everything and I was worried about the sizing. She's 5'10", very slender and very busty so she does have a hard time with clothes fitting properly. We ordered Medium and it fits like it was custom made, even around the chest. The pros:It's HEAVY and very warm, very warm. The fur is beautiful and super soft and plush, it's feels like Hollywood.(she says)It's reversible with waterproof exteriorIt has a large hood that doesn't crimp her hair downIt's long (she's tall and it goes below her knees)The sleeves fit perfectly and go maybe one inch below her wristIt firts perfect across the back and shoulders and gives her lots of roomIt has buttons inside and outIt has pockets inside and out (SWEET!!!)It's slightly fitted so it doesn't completely hide her beautiful shapeIt has fur accents on the non-fur side so it still has that luxurious look in rain-modeAt $99 this is a friggin STEAL,The cons (minor, but to be fair):The hood is not removableSome of the buttons were loosely stitchedIt's not as fitted as it could be (a belt or sash would have been nice and we would have gladly paid extra)We're SoCal and it just might be a little too warm, this is definitely a winter coat.

Very Happy :-)
I ordered both the small and medium as my measurements fell between the two. (36x27x37). I kept the small and even have enough room for a bulky sweater...plenty of room. I am 5'9" and the coat comes to my mid calf, perfect for the formal gown I bought it for. Yes, the coat is weighty (almost 5 pounds) and I like that. The faux fur side is just beautiful, although I may replace the plastic buttons with something fancier, which would be an easy change. My advice would be to not hesitate if you are sitting on the fence! No, it is not a real mink, but then again, if you could afford that you wouldn't be looking here! Seriously, it really is a well made, deep shiny black warm coat :-)

Great coat for cold, wet weather!
I had a faux fur reversible long coat like this some years ago and I know that it is the BEST coat for inclement, cold, wet weather. Unbelievably, I lost my coat - to this day I think a guest walked off with it one dark and stormy night. This winter, we are traveling to Holland in December and I just missed the coat so much. Decided to look for another online and found this. So happy! This is a more beautiful coat than my old one, and fits very well. The faux fur is a deep black (my old one was mink - style) and looks very good, both fur inside or outside. I did take the coat to get the buttons moved in a little so it fits more snugly on me, but otherwise I am so happy I bought this. A great price, too.

Super warm and super long
This was a Christmas gift from my husband. I didn't like it at first because it's all black and super long, not to mention very heavy. I am 5'2 and it reaches down to my ankles. However it keeps you VERY warm and it is very comfortable to wear and feels so soft inside when you wear with the fur lining. It feels like i'm wearing a fuzzy sleeping bag. I've been looking forward to some cold weather just so I could wear it. It is very easy to button because the loops are elasticized. The outside fabric is like a textured nylon type, but not sure if it would provide some water-proofness. Haven't tested it for rain since it is dry where I live but because of all the furry lining I would not wear it during a rainy weather. I like that it isn't restrictive like some coats are, such as when you raise the arms or pull your arms backward, yet it is not baggy around the chest or shoulders. Not sure what the washing instructions are because I can't find the tag.

Extraordinary coat!
I was looking for a dressy, black, faux fur lined storm coat. And this is it....with an elegant hood to boot. It fits a bit close to the body, esp. in the sleeves....but as I will not need to wear heavy under things, not a problem. It is classy, elegant and gorgeous. Does it look not mink? NO. But, then I wanted the fur on the inside anyway and it looks great for that. Is it heavy (as others have rated it?) Only of you are not used to wearing a full length, non-down winter coat. I prefer full length winter coats; I own three others. This is the same weight as all of those. So do not let the "heavy" rating of others scare you off. I am 5'7", 130 lbs. I ordered a medium and it hits me just under mid-calf (duster length.) It fits close to the body; its A line style gives me a waist; and it does not make me look like Nanuk of the North. Grab it if you can!

Very nice coat
Bought this coat to fight the New England cold! The fit is right on as well and allows for winter clothing underneath . I like the hood a lot too. I've worn it both ways, fur and cloth sides, and like both. Wore the fur side for the holidays as it is a bit more dressy. The downside to this coat is the weight ... very heavy like a thick sleeping bag or blanket. But it really does the job of repelling snow and cold because you're so well covered. The weight is not so bad commuting but I wouldn't want to be lugging it around in a mall. Just last week, I "popped" a button off squatting down to the floor to pick something up. That low button is always vulnerable in long coats so not a big deal, I just sewed it tightly back on. They do give you an extra button should you lose one.

NICE COAT, GREAT PRICE
The non-fur side looks a little cheap and unadorned, but the fur side looks very fancy and expensive. It is heavy, warm, and a great length. My wife is 5' 8" and the coat drapes to just below mid-calf. She likes it very well. It should do the trick.
