Electro-HarmonixTurnip Greens Overdrive/Reverb Multi-Effect Pedal

I bought this item as a gift, for my oldest son who plays a few different guitars regularly. I tend to buy him gifts that feed his passion for music, and while there's nothing wrong with the 1st petal we bought him, this one had a few more nice features and he's very happy with it!

Both pedals hold their own by themselves. In my opinion, the Holy Grail Max is better than the TC HOF and one of the best that you can buy period. The Soul Food is a great transparent overdrive that can get some serious crunch when the drive is maxed. It also works well as a mid tone booster. This pedals compact form gives two pedals in one stomp box. If you are looking for these two pedals I would strongly recommend purchasing the Turnip Greens from Electro-Harmonix.

This pedal ROCKS!!! The thing that puts it over the top is that it has its own loop. The soul food overdrive makes a GREAT first OD, then I looped all my other pedals in and finished back at the holy grail reverb side. I LOVE the tones I'm getting from my board now! I don't even need to use my amp's OD anymore! I HIGHLY recommend this pedal because of it's outstanding tone and it's diversity!

Just great! This is perfect for driving my Epi 1939” 6V6 Century Amp reissue. Well worth the money. I would not be surprised if this is limited release so if you are considering picking one up, you really cannot lose. The overdrive goes from a little bit of dirt to full on distortion and the reverb is very convincing for digital. You will not be disappointed.

This is a nice pedal - is a great choice if trying to save some space and the effects loop gives additional flexibility. A good choice for rock and blues. I have a big muff nano for distortion and a delay in the loop, which covers a lot of the music that I play. I think electro-harmonix continues to produce great products.

Turnip Greens combines two killer Electro-Harmonix pedals, Soul Food and Holy Grail Max and then adds an effects loop that sits in between the two pedals. I needed a reverb effect and this is a great solution because it has all these additional ways that I can tweak the effect and really spit out some unique reverb spaciousness... Maybe I'll record my first album of yoga instrumentals or an EP of some Jacuzzi Jazz for lovers.

It's not a bad idea to have reverb and overdrive in the same pedal; it saves space, it allows for a nifty reverse of orders, but it limits somewhat the possibility to have some other pedals in between. I'm using it in my "travel pedal board", the one I use for rehearsal and a quick set-up, but it never beats a TS-9 and a Holly Grail in the same pedalboard.

A superb pedal for the price. The Holy Grail Max reverb is superb and the the Soul Food overdrive simply excellent. I use this mainly with my 5 watt Fender Champion 600 valve amp and the tones that can be achieved are pure blues heaven. Do yourself a favour and just buy this pedal.

This has remained on my pedal board since buying it. I use the fx loop with a chorus and a delay and it magic. I think one of the best bang for buck pedals I have purchased. Highly recommend this pedal.

Just great sounds. I love the overdrive and reverb combo. They sound so good together. Certainly more of a bluesy sound but if you prefer other styles of music just put something in the effects loop and away you go.
