Excellent CNC bit
Great value and very smart CNC router bit. This looks to be excellent quality and hopefully will have a good life span. This is perfect for chamfering the edges of holes to make a super neat finish.Too high an angle for using as a countersink for screws though so primarily for cleanup work.Super bit.

1/4 inch or 6mm??
Excellent end mill with clean, crisp edges to the timber. Perfect for v-carve inlays.PLEASE NOTE: This is 6mm and not 1/4 inch (which is 6.3mm). It would not tighten securely in one of my two 1/4 inch collets.

Nice Cutter
This is a nicely made solid carbide cutter with a Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating, You can tell its carbide by its weight. As others have noted, the diameter is 6mm, not 1/4, however since its used for carving and chamfering, the exact dimension shouldn't really matter that much, other than to the collet used to hold it.The cutter is razor sharp and has a 60 degree grind on its 4 flutes. I was surprised to see softer materials listed in its compatibility as I was expecting it to be purely for metal working given that its solid carbide which is generally used on harder metals due to the their greater cutting capability. I plan to use it on Steel and Aluminium for chamfering, but I'll need to wait a couple of weeks for the garage to warm up a bit more first.
