Does what it's supposed to do. Works on electric baseball bat neck.

This is the capo you use when you need to control how hard it squeezes the strings. My spring capo makes the whole guitar much sharper than this one.The only downside is that it can't be clipped to the headstock.

Superior quality capo. It doesn’t work well on my electrics because of the radius—I tried bending a string with it on and it stayed in that position. I’ll still use it on my dreadnought acoustic because I won’t be bending as much on it.If you want one that works on teles and such, get the model for steel string guitars. This kind, I imagine, would work great if you have some kind of vintage Sears guitar like a Kay.

I've always been a Kyser capo user. However, I'm now playing a tele, tuned down a 1/2 step. Kyser capo pulled strings out of tune. However, the Shubb works perfectly.

I've used this on a 9.5" radius Fender, an acoustic 12 string and a Martin acoustic. It's advertisement implies that it is made for a rounder Telecaster neck but it's more versatile than that. It takes a bit of adjustment to get it to fit beyond it's normal range but it works. It's not the simplest of capos as you have to line up the bar, adjust the tensioner and flip the adjustment bar. It also seems better made than most.
