Super bright, long battery life but hard to turn on
I've had this on my bike for 4 months on a single charge. I use it about once a week. It's super bright and works well every time. My only minor complaint is that you have to hold the button for about 10-15 seconds to get it to power on or shut down. That can be challenging while you're moving, but if you do this each time, you will have good battery life.

Failed After a Month, Won't Charge. Will Not Send for a Second Replacent.
The media could not be loaded. Unit stopped accepting charge after a month (and yes, I switched out cable and charger to eliminate that as the problem) Giving up on NiteRider.I had already returned one unit because the button required a deep and hard press. You have to press HARD to turn on. The replacement unit was not as bad, but still bad.The operation between steady and flash is not intuitive. To get to the economical and long-lasting intermittent "blink" setting press long again (VERY long) and then ease up and wait to ensure you have entered blink mode.

Price is worth it.
Light weight and not bulky. The battery does not last as long as advertised. I can only get about 4 hours of light time in flashing mode. But it works fine I ordered additional one for other bike.

Kid likes it. Bright enough for night rides.
So far so good! East to recharge. Easy to put on bike. Very bright.

NiteRider has the best lights
I commute by bike to work all year around. In the winter months it's dark on the bike trail, especially going through wooded areas. This light ( and the 650, that I also have) is perfect. Recharges easily and throws a broad beam. Flashing function is great during dusk/dawn, rainy weather or fog. You just can't beat NiteRider for price and value.

Arrived non-functional, even after charging
Right out of the box it doesn't turn on. Then I charged it for a few hours (with charging indicator light turned on) and then still wouldn't turn on. Junk

Mighty Mouse…Sort Of
Edit at the top: Dropped one star because my worst fear just happened. Out for an early pre-dawn ride, one light starting running low. The red warning light came on. At my next stop, I swapped out lights to my spare. (I bought two of these.) The strap BROKE! So now, instead of having two - I have one. Might work better on smaller diameter handlebars. But, on a thicker road bike handlebar, I wouldn't buy them. This little NiteRider Swift 300 has its good points & bad points. Good: Backed by the best warranty in the industry for bike lights. For something rated at only 300 lumens, it seems stronger. It’s rated to last 2:00 hours at 300 Lumens on high & whopping 11:00 hours at 300 Lumens in the flashing mode. That’s more than good enough for well-lit city streets. I bought two, because in warmer months I’m often out & about for hours – well before sunrise. NiteRider suggests charging the lights before using. I must’ve gotten some fresh from the factory. Both showed fully charged in just a few minutes. The bad: If you’re thinking about going off road or on a bike path without some sort of street lights…forget it. It’s simply not strong enough for that. It wasn’t designed or made for that kind of riding. Another bad: Unlike other lights, the headlight does NOT simply slide in & out of a handlebar bracket. You must remove the entire light & mounting strap to recharge. Only time will tell how long until the mounting strap wears out.Overall, I still have to give it a ‘thumbs up’ based on what it was designed to do; a neat little light that’ll get you seen. Again…it was not designed or intended for pitch black trails or unlit streets.

Bright enough
Bought as a light for my daughter's bike. Appears to be plenty bright enough but not overly so (blind the rest of us).

Muy buena iluminación y fácil de colocar
Alumbra bastante bien.
