Works fine on Three network
OK early days, but very impressed. In one evening I have managed to set it up using a 24GB 24 month data card from the Three network, and it sends pictures at either timed intervals (up to 8 hours) or on PIR movement or by SMS trigger. So cool! With the data card I am just using SMTP email with an account on Gmail, but a little script allows all the email attachments received to be placed in a Google Drive folder for storage. Minimum picture size transmitted is 54kB so I calculate that 12 photos a day for one year. Email also tells you why it was triggers, temperature at camera, battery and storage state. Great potential as a security camera, peace of mind for locations that you cannot be at, wildlife, sort of remote CCTV on command. Even plays a recorded sound although I have yet to experiment with that. Will post more if it changes. Can post the device settings I used following a bit of research within Three support, but no doubt similar with other UK networks.Kind of cute technology. Send a text message of "#T#E#" to the camera phone number and 30 seconds later get back a small image by email, with the full picture saved on the camera card.
