Dog Shoes Boots with Mesh Nonslip Rubber Soles to Protect Hardwood Floor and Prevent Scratching Licking XLarge Black XL

Purchased these boots to help a 14 year old Border Collie with slick hardwood floors. The texture of the pad was more like a plastic sole. I was expecting a soft rubbery sold that would help with traction not compound the issue. They did fit well, and would keep nails from scratching the floor.

Firstly, the bottom surface is not grippy enough for a little dog. My elderly dog weighs 7lbs and still slides some on the tile floor wearing these. The XS is not small enough for him either, if you have a Pom just get XXS.On the back feet they don't come up high enough to stay on very well. I plan to try to modify them so they can come up higher than the first joint. Even still, i taped them to his fur to keep them on longer he still slid around a little bit.The mesh top is nice and they dry off good if they get wet. I recommend them for a heavier dog as the weight should increase the grip.

I bought these to keep my foster dog from licking his paws indoors and from further scraping his paw pads on walks. The toes are beginning to get a bit fuzzy where he drags his feet (and I've had these less than a week), and they tend to rotate on his feet, so the more durable portion ends up on top, where it does no good. I think I'd buy different ones if I had to do it over.

these really help my old collie dog walk. So reasonably priced and grip the floor when he is struggling to get up and stand. Thank you for selling these 4 dog shoes. They fit my collie's feet and are adjustable.

These doggie boots were the best of several I tried...Dog does not like anything on her feet but we managed well with these.

Easy to put on and stays on. Just make sure you put the top strap through the loop on back. My husband kept missing it and the boot would flap on the back. Also make sure the paws are well groomed. Our Newf’s back legs were a little long and the hair got tangled. It would also be nice if the bottom strap was longer.

These booties are a little tough to get on even when the dog is still. They are also very slippery on a smooth or hardwood surface.They will protect from accidental scratching of vinyl seats in my boat and my body when the dog is swimming.Dog seams to like having them on as long as we are not on a smooth surface.

They're breathable and light, which is great because I use them for my service dog during the summer when the ground is too hot to walk on but I don't want his paws to get too hot in them. Work awesome for what I need but the quality isn't great. If you need them for regular hikes or difficult terrain, they'll fall apart pretty quickly. For light wear, they're perfect.
