AeroGarden Be the Bee Pollinator for Indoor Gardens, Use on Tomatoes, Peppers, Strawberries, and More

Lots and Lots of tomatoes forming at this time. the "be the bee" works very well, in fact, you could call me a "prolific pollinator" at this time.Nice long shaft and cute design but, most important, it WORKS!

I have 4 Aerogarden Pro 200s that I bought well over 10 years ago. I use them off and on, mostly for lettuce and herbs.A couple of years ago I decided to try tomatoes and eggplants. They did not produce much fruit, despite my following the instructions to use a fan to help pollinate the plants.Last year I messaged Aerogarden on Facebook to question why I was not having success. I mentioned that I was using a fan and my plant only produced a handful of tomatoes and eggplants. It was suggested that I buy the bee pollinator. I honestly thought it was a gimmick but bought it none-the-less as it was cute.I started growing tomatoes and eggplants a couple of months ago and have 1 Aerogarden with tomatoes and 2 with eggplants. I use the bee pollinator daily for a minute or two. It is a simple tool to use, just place the bee wings into the open flowers, turn it on and go from flower to flower. It is quick, easy and takes little to no time.I cannot believe the difference this bee pollinator makes! I currently have more tomatoes and eggplants that I have had in the past, and this is only my first set of flowers from the plants.Get this, you will not be disappointed !

New review to the original review and the appended review below:Thus far the replacement works as intended and really well I'm very happy. Let's see how long this lasts maybe they'll last for the normal amount of time that these products last. I've also noticed that in the replacement the bees both wings vibrate correctly. The bee in the now returned pollinator had only one wing vibrating. I hope that only some of these units are defective. The time in due time will tell.Old Review:When I got the bee it would make a bit of noise. Then it would periodically work when I would touch the switch. Now it hardly works and it stopped at one point. This is not the batteries there is some kind of defect internally. I'm really not happy with this product. The intent is cool when it does work. I'm nearly out of 15 bucks for an expensive item that's like a toothbrush.Appended Review:Since my review was last posted I now have requested an exchange. I'll give this item a second chance.

This pollinator tool is just adorable and is so fun to use. I check my Aerogardens every night, and along with topping off the water and adding nutrients as required, I nightly use this little tool to pollinate my tomatoes and jalapenos. I'm getting a really abundant harvest as a result! Aerogarden says you can get 3 times the harvest by using this pollinator, and I believe it! It's hard to believe these compact plants can produce so much. Amazing! I've heard that this tool breaks easily if you drop it on the floor, so be extra careful with it.

I used this to pollinate peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. We don't have many bees (they are across the street where my neighbor has a huge garden). I have six containers with plants. This little gizmo helped me to have three dozen hot peppers (1 plant), over a dozen salad peppers (1 plant), more cherry tomatoes than I could count (1 plant) and about 10 cucumbers (2 plants). Admittedly, it didn't work on the zucchini, I only got 2.I didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. It was worth it!

Works great when it worked , however it lasted long enough for me to pollinate my lemon tree 6 blooms, then 3 days later pollinated orange tree 8 blooms. Then 4 days later went to pollinate tomatoes, and it would not work, so thought maybe batteries had died, however changed the batteries and still nothing .... the button is stuck and am unable to turn it on , opened it to see if could fix but the top part just fell off with wires hanging , but still could not get to button spring so having to throw away and go back to my electric toothbrush to pollinate. Was so excited when i received this as a Christmas gift , and what a disappointment when i really need to start using it a lot , it died , such a let down! have changed batteries a couple of times, and have played around with it to try and fix it which i ca usually fix things like that , but not this one,,,,,,and of course the return window closed before i even got a chance to use it in the spring ! So the concept is great but perhaps another brand or company but bit this one it just has no durability . I would NOT endorse this product.

I ordered this item for a variety of hot peppers that I was growing indoors. The first unit I received was dead on arrival. I requested a replacement, and it was sent immediately on overnight delivery. The second unit worked as intended. I had a bit of a wait for my peppers to bloom, but it was worth the wait.The item works very well. It has soft silicone bristles that won't harm your plants, and you can see the little puff of pollen when you hit the inside of the flower. As a little experiment, I had two Jalapeno plants, and I decided to use the Be the Bee pollinator with one while just using air from my fan on the other. Not surprisingly, the yield from the plant I used this product on was far larger. I had fewer dropped flowers and much more fruit from the plant I used this on. I also used it on a variety of other pepper plants. I am now pretty much drowning in home made hot sauce, and I have this product largely to thank!I definitely recommend this if you're growing any flowering plant indoors. It's worth the price, and it's also quite cute. It looks like a little bee, and it's hard not to love it. I called mine Fred.

The mechanical bee is a must to pollinate your tomatoes and does increase the yield significantly. I would say it doubles the yield.

Praktisches Produkt zum bestäuben von Pflanzen die im Haus wachsen und keine Biene zu Gesicht bekommen.Allerdings funktionierte mein Exemplar nach einsetzen der Batterien nicht. Ein fachkundiger Blick meines Mannes, der sich mit Elektrik auskennt, und weite stellten fest, dass im unteren Teil eine leitende Platte für den Energiefluss fehlte... Es war nur Plastik im Deckel und das leitet nunmal keinen Strom. Er konnte dies zum Glück reparieren, so ersparte ich mir die Reklamation.

Working well after nearly 2 months of use. Angled well to get to my eggplant and tomato flowers. I no longer have to contend with stained electric toothbrushes and can leave this outside with my gardening tools, so I'm happy.

Easier to pollinate with “The Bee” than just using a light touch. I had knocked off some flowers before using the item……I didn’t think it would help, but I have my tomato plants showing the start of fruit!!!Just wish the on button didn’t need to be held continuously
