Excellent system, quick answers and easy setup
The media could not be loaded. I've wired this into our new (old) 30' RV to give us a better left/right/rear visibility and recording, and (if we want) to record the inside when we're away with the fourth camera. The night vision works REALLY well, just be sure nothing of a bright color is near the camera (like the wall exterior wall of your vehicle) - the camera will blowout/focus on the bright object and not pickup on distant things (even 10ft) away. The "alarm" wires (i think these should probably be called "sensor" or "switch" wires) are really neat, basically any 12v signal you send to them will cause the DVR to output just that channel, there's a setting the DVR menus (it think under basic->alarms) that let's you control how long the channels stays active/displayed, if you set this to 0 (zero) it will just stay on that channel as long as you're applying 12v to the alarm wire (for that channel). When you take the 12v away it switches straight back to the quad view.Of course you can use just one and wire it into your reverse gear/switch OR you can go way over board like I did and wire these "alarm" wires into a multi-point switch and use it to physically select the camera you want to use. (see the video, sorry for the crappy quality, was getting dark.)I did this because I mounted my DVR in a semi-hidden location, where the IR signal from the remote won't reach - also because I like the solid "clack" of a switch :DFurther, if the vehicle you're using comes with an existing rear camera, you may be able to re-use the wires like I did, it's a little work splicing/soldering the four wires onto a new connector but it turned out great. Thanks again for the excellent product!

If your are owner operator - you need to get it
Best customer support - ask them any question and you will get help 100%. Also this recorder is a must have for owner operators. it will be paid off within 6 month compared to useless and crazy expensive Motive or Samsara camera setups. Joinglo DVR consumes less than 1 amp so it will not drain your battery over weekends. And you will be safe to leave the truck with the dvr constantly recording from 4 different angles for a few days. Also it has a 2 years warranty, once it is installed it is easy to maintain it. Took me about 6 hours to install it. But it can be done in 1 hour if you don't mind cable management. Thank you

Solid, well designed product, great value
I'm mounting the cameras underneath my Jeep so they have to be rugged and waterproof. The 4 cameras that come with this unit meet this requirement - the casing is sturdy, there is what appears to be strong glass in front of the camera, and extrusions in front to help protect the glass from bouncing rocks, etc. The wiring and cable connections are of very solid screw together and water resistant type. The control unit is unobtrusive and can easily be mounted under the dash and the display is a very good size for dash mounting. The unit is easy to assemble, worked perfectly out of the box, and is a very good price compared to other similar units. I'm working on mounting it in my Jeep now - only time will tell how it stands up on the trails but I am very happy with the value and quality of this product so far.

Not worth it
Not worth the money. The quality is 720p, not better. There is no sequential recording mode. There is a mandatory interval. The last time the video started playing in accelerated mode. I do not know why this happened. Now all the videos for the last 6 days are like that. I don't recommend to buy it. The control unit is very hot, which affects the recording. I had to put a cooler.

Everything you want to know (True Review) an A+ in my book!!
I was worried when I purchased this item, there were a few reviews that almost pushed me away from purchasing. But I took a gamble.. well let me start out by saying that the whole unit was nicely boxed recvied undamaged. Upon opening the box there was a thank you card which was nice. They do include instructions and they are pretty dumb proof of you have any mechanical or electrical knowledge the only thing I would say is that the alarm cable came with no instruction or explained what you could use it for. The cables going to the camera were like 20' feet and you get 4 and the ends you hook to the xera have nice booties to slide over to protect from weather. After I got everything hooked up I noticed a HDD error bit don't panic you just need to format the card in the system under basic, then storage. Also don't worry about the cameras being mounted upside down or upright you can change the orientation in the display setting of the DVR, just remember to power down the DVR and restart after selection the vertical and horizontal flip. The other thing is that you can buy a micros sd card butake sure it comes with a adapter because the unit takes the bigger SD cards. Another thing is that make good choice in the area you are going to install. Most of your programing and camera control is with the DVR remote and the remote and DVR need a line of site of sort. I wish they would have included a IR extension so you could mount the unit anyware out of site. If you can I recommend the DVR kit that has the wi-fi and GPS and 4g...made by the same company but allows you to remote monitor with your phone. I park my truck many places and having that ability would have been nice especially away from it. But other system you can't go wrong.. now for those that really don't understand cameras with night sensors or IR LED's in the camera constriction, those little LED's can only throw out so much light, if you are a truck driver I recommend you get IR booster lights, all they are are regular utility lights but only IR emitting IR light in a flood or spot configuration. The iso on these cameras are pretting good for low light conditions it's only in real dark areas that you will have limited view. Remember they are just small LED lights!!! Okay I am adding to this review. Important!!! If you purchase a micro sd card with the larger sd card socket make.sure the card is tight. Any vibration will loosen the micro sd card and cause the.system to constantly reset numrous times. It took me.a while to.figure out what was going on. I ended up.just purchasing the larger card and have not had an issue so far.
