GM Genuine Parts 24230298 Automatic Transmission 1-2 and 3-4 Shift Solenoid Valve

Identical OE parts,I just wish they came in a sealed bag like the pressure control solenoid and the downshift solenoid,these were loose in the box and that is definitely not how they come from the manufacturer. GM doesn't ship electronic parts that way and they are sensitive parts to be flopping around loosely in a box. for that reason they get 4 stars. I'm seriously considering sending them back for this reason,because they should have been in a GM baggie with part number. Super disappointed about that. You know what? It's 4 days later and I have decided I am going to purchase these again and send back the first set, because I bought ALL brand new solenoids and each one came in a sealed plastic GM baggie placed in a square GM box and these two were only in the box,no baggies. So I am not going to take the chance of sealing up my pan then have a problem because some funny business went on because of a return,not going to chance it,if the new ones I order come loose in the box I will update,if they come in a bag,then I will also say so. There's just no way I'm going to accept GM put all other solenoids in a bag AND a box,and shipped these loose in a box. Ok,second order came loose in a box but now I'm satisfied that's how they come. Work perfectly so 5 stars are warranted

2006 Chevy Avalanche 1500. My truck was accelerating really slow, likely stuck in third, getting a P0758 code. Replaced the transmission fluid, filter, gasket, and the four solenoids (two of these specific ones) and its running like brand new! Pretty straightforward replacement. There are a few videos on Youtube. Just have to be careful removing the two solenoids on the driver's side since they are spring loaded and will come flying off once you remove the clip holding them in place. Apply some pressure with your thumb or finger to keep it in place while removing the clip and then slowly pull them out so you don't lose the valves inside the transmission channel.

Genuine replacement

Auto parts store tried to sell me a $550 valve body for a P0757 code and I had no 3-4 gear. Lost 2nd about a day later. $32 worth of solenoids later along with about $50 worth of fluids and a gasket and everything is working as it should. My transmission was only a 13 month old reman only 1 month out of warranty and I fixed it in a few hours for roughly $80 all in. Two hours of my time to save hundreds and hundreds. Easy job... don't lose bolts. Torque to spec. Don't lose the clips. Easy job...

Solved my weird shifting issue from first gear transitioning into second gear on 03 Yukon. Truck drives and shifts much better and much smoother!
