Purchased (2) of these 20lb slam balls and they lasted 4 months before popping. One split in the tread and the other popped at the nipple/opening. If this is a normal length of time that these balls last, please state that in the description so the customers are aware before purchasing.Just had one of the 15lb balls split today. That's both 20lb balls and now one of the 15lb balls. I imagine the other 15lb will also be failing soon. Never had the desire to write a negative review, but the poor quality of these balls needs to be made known.

This slam ball is solid. I bought the 30 LBS and i am extremely happy with the diameter. The size is just right because it is very stable in the sense that you barely feel the movement of the sand used to fill the ball. Excellent grip and it gives you the confidence in your movements. I bought the 30 lbs of another brand which i had to return because the size was too big and it was very unstable due to the movement of the sand in it.I will definitely buy additional sizes as i stack up my collection.Buy it, You won't regret it!

I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THIS ITEM BECAUSE OF A DESIGN FLAW THAT IS NOTHING SHORT OF CARELESSNESS. I DONT THINK THEY CONDUCTED ANY CONSUMER TRIALS. I THINK IF THEY HAD, THIS FLAW WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHLIGHTED AND CORRECTED. TO ACHIEVE THE LISTED WEIGHT OF 6 POUNDS SAND WAS ADDED INSIDE OF THE BALL. BUT THE SAND WAS LOOSE AND CAUSED INERTIA WHEN THE DIRECTION WAS CHANGED. IT WAS OFF BALANCE. THE OUTTER DESIGN WAS PERFECT. BUT SOMEBODY SCREWED UP WITH THIS ROOKIE MISTAKE.

Great fitness equipment, found training video on the YouTube, while watching video at home while doing, very convenient. There is about 2/3 sand in the ball and a good sense of balance is needed to control it. It is very helpful for building muscle. If you are a girl without strength, you'd better choose a little lighter weight than using dumbbells. I think the ten pounds I bought is heavier than using dumbbells

Updated review:After reading my review, the company revised the listing and made it clear that this is a slam ball only. I found that impressive.They also sent me a complimentary ball as a special thank you for pointing out the error.The ball is a VERY well made slam ball. Highly recommended!

There's too much play with the sand in the ball. I like the Amazon Basics brand better, they are shaped more like a basketball and are very firm. This one is too squishy to use for pushups.

So far this is holding up amazing. My sister came over and worked out with me and just bought one herself because she loved it too! Anyone in the market for a good quality piece to add to their home gym this is definitely it. It’s not a medicine ball it’s an actual slam ball.
